  1. Thanks. It should be out a lot this summer. Hopefully you can see it in person. When I decided on my exhaust I looked at a bunch of options included hidden and single. I've even seen side pipes of a third gen. The factory tips are more hidden. In the end, I just liked the big chrome tips sticking out. However from your previous comment I started looking at led bulbs that fit in the factory sockets. They look cool and will definitely be an upgrade in the future.
  2. I just got rid of my cassette deck last year. Bon Jovi's Young Guns 2 sound track was still in it. I'm easing into the 21st century.
  3. Out of the tail light options for the 80's firebirds, I have always liked the 91-92 trans am tail lights the best. But since they were only made for 2 years they are hard to find and expensive. About a year ago I picked up a set relatively cheap but they were delaminating inside. I polished and tinted them and I think they look good. Before and after photos are below. The reflection is lights in the back ground as it was getting dark. The before are the 85-90 trans am tail lights that I have had in for the last few years. (I never liked the stock firebird lights.) Is this too much black or what does CR think? 4. Very cool. It's like the smart car of 50 years ago. I wonder if they did Citroen tipping back then.
  5. I was at U Part It on Saturday and they had several 93-97 v-6 firebirds and camaros. The plastic part on top of the dash is always busted but the dashes looked ok otherwise. They also have much better prices than Pick N Pull and are only a few exits away on 104.
  6. Como mower on Indianola has always treated us well. Not super close to Johnstown but at least north side.
  7. All of us that grew up in the 80s watching Lethal Weapon just want to be like Mel Gibson.... except in number 4 when Jet Lee stripped it while pointed at him.
  8. Hoping to be there again this year.
  9. I bet he has more room for luggage now..
  10. If he is not in a hurry to sell he could trailer it down to the trans am nationals in Dayton in August. Always a lot of folks looking to buy clean firebirds there.
  11. We had a few windows replaced by APCO. They look ok but they are not high quality. My neighbor also had APCO replace their windows a long time ago and a bunch of them sag and don't close. My mom just had Rosatti replace all the windows in her house. They look good and are really thick. They were dicks on the scheduling but the windows seem nice. Rosatti was also one of the most expensive. Good luck.
  12. Yea I'm not surprised. Did you go in the back room? They have some nasty stuff back there.
  13. There is a place near me on 161 called the Newstand. It's near Karl or Maple Canyon. They have it. They also have a back room if you want to venture in there. If you want me to pick up copies for you pm or call me.
  14. In for after pics. Congrats on the pick up.
  15. It made me laugh. Don't really care if it's fake.
  16. Neither my Ruger 10/22 or 22/45 liked Winchester Xpert ammo. It would jam all the time. It took years to use it all because I could only use it In revolvers. I've had great luck with the Federal in the bulk packs.
  17. I ordered 3 federal bulk packs from Cabelas a few weeks ago. 2 orders went through and one got canceled. Just glad I got 2. Also yesterday in the junk coupon adds there was a flyer from Gun Envy that said "mention this add and get 10% off accessories." That's an extra buck off pmags.
  18. Usually gun in case. Ammo and gun can be in the same bag as long as it's not loaded. Some ranges check to make sure you are not shooting steel cased ammo. When in doubt call the range. The website is in the previous post. I know where it is but it's been years since I shot there. That's what LEPD and Blackwing do. You will need ear and eye protection unless you want to rent theirs.
  19. New Albany is probably the closest to Westerville. You bring your own stuff or rent theirs. I think it's a flat fee but it's been a while since I was there. http://www.nasr.com
  20. LEPD is close to me and even without a membership, the range is reasonably priced. Plus they are ok with me picking up brass. I don't buy anything there as their prices seem high. If I want to shoot I go there. If I want to buy I go elsewhere.
  21. I may be in. I shoot mostly handgun so LEPD is my range of choice but any will do. OP is there something in particular you are interested in shooting?
  22. I should start wearing my glasses before I post. Thanks for the heads up. Cabelas has Remington small pistol primers on sale for 31.99. Guess I'll go there instead. http://www.cabelas.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=741162&type=product&MDK=dynbanP_TR&MDC=cat333152280&WTz_l=SBC%3BMMcat104792580%3Bcat104761080%3BMCcat333152280
