  1. So is sonic shut down or what?
  2. Likely low oil pressure vs low oil level.
  3. Wow that is interesting. No wonder I got even more of my mind blown when I googled it. At least BMW thought something through.
  4. If he is pulling the head for the HG the cam's will need to come out for the head to go out, even if he was to leave them in TDC won't matter even if the engine is interference as it should have the belt/chain tension loose and the cams shouldn't be spun in either direction.
  5. Well got my Fuel Pressure regulator, fuel rail, exhaust manifold gaskets, and a lot of other things in over the last month or so. Wideband and clutch disc are on the way. I've also replaced the exhaust manifold studs and putting all new locking nuts on them to eliminate any leaks. Had Alex L. weld up my coolant tube I still need to have him weld on an elbow to my compressor housing so I don't have to run a rubber 90* bend off of it, hopefully today or tomorrow I get the motivation to install the fuel rail and my injectors and mock up my FPR for wiring. Next up is wiring in the injectors and IACV as well as TPS and IAT sensor once the intake and fuel rail are bolted down. Then ordering a lot of fuel hose and quite a few fittings to plumb my fuel system in then theoretically the car will run. Somewhere in there I need to order a clutch disc and some bolts so it can move under it's own power. Then after than get a front mount kit so I can make use of my turbo
  6. Get it gone if it is more than you paid for it. It is a 10 year old benz, shit is gonna start going wrong.

  8. I love stakes...or is it steaks. Oh whale.
  9. Touche Something like that. At least you won't ever hear my complain about someone else paying the tool bill and paying me hourly.
  10. Good thing most of their parts as well as any other brand has a warranty on it. You have to take those reviews with a grain of salt, most these people are the same ones not using the right tool for the right job. I used a lot of harbor freight stuff and it worked 85-90% as good as Snap-On or Cornwell. Craftsman is at like 70-75% for comparison. Hell my HF 1/2" Impact was taking out subframe bolts my friends Snap-On impact wouldn't. As Greg said, how often do you forsee yourself using it? Is it really worth spending $50+ more on a Craftsman that will likely do the same thing?
  11. Got the dyno sheet by chance? Not doubting the numbers, just interested to see it.
  12. That's badass randy! Good job dude! Do they pay for this type of thing or is it a "well isn't on being tv enough?" Type thing?
  13. It was a swap with mods done in the early 2000's. It was one of the first swapped Mk3's and was someone's learning car. It had dated technology on it with even more dated OEM technology. A whole new engine harness built from scratch and basically everything related to going down the road replaced later it should be a decent car. Not to mention I still need to tear the head apart and do valve stem seals. Just get a good price on it and make sure it is put together using quality stuff by knowledgeable people.
  14. After going through what I have on my supra never again. Tint and exhaust would be pushing it.
  15. Safelite uses junk. Last time I dealt with them (3 years ago maybe?) they told me all work had a lifetime warranty.
  16. Clicked expecting to see a 300zx. Saw this instead.

Supra lives... 2-stepping' at Clay's House...
  18. Priced it all out, to use the site my friends have for PTFE I'd be saving half over what Jegs wants for their E85 stuff so I think I'll be going that route.
  19. The pro flo stuff with white/grey striping?
  20. Well I don't know many people who are ready for the shits when they hit but they deal with it. I think you should too.
  21. Dude, you haven't let this teach you anything. You are clearly not able to devote the time and effort into fixing a car properly, now you want to "cut losses" by throwing a shop a few grand to fix something you've had your hands in. You are gonna be in a LOT worse shape by taking it to a shop then selling it instead of just selling it now. No one on CL is gonna care if it has new wheels on it since it doesn't run. All they see is another ad of someone throwing parts on something and hoping it sticks.
  22. Top kek, 10/10 would read again.
