  1. x2. No need to be a douche if you don't agree. Just simply give your opinions and don't be a fucking prick.
  2. It's actually a "pre built" harness from DIYAutotune.com It's not really what you'd think, just a DB37 connector with different wires already pinned to the ecu appropriate pin. I like it, I'm a noob when it comes to harness making, and I like having uniform colors for everything so I can easily diagnose something. The wire isn't as high of grade as I would have liked but for $80 and each is a different color/stripe combo and labeled every foot, I won't bitch.
  3. The quick and honest answer, yes. I've seen IPS in the paper owing $40,000-ish in back taxes. 2 employees, one being a tuner (excluding thorne) left IPS and went to CTD from my understanding. Eric Scambalogna or however the fuck you spell his name is one. His wife is the one mainly running CTD's FB dick swinging page.

  5. Well maybe they have, and that is good for them. Most people are too lazy to do any electrical research and don't want to spend the time making what they have work. A lot of people would rather ship their car off and let someone else figure out their wiring bugs as simple as a loose or missing ground. I'd rather just do it all myself and with help from friends so I can focus my money elsewhere.
  6. Been pretty busy with extra stuff other than my car lately, this is what came of 6 or 7 hours of wiring yesterday. Started with 74 wires, plan on using about 65 of them. We got most of my coils wired up and the wiring covered up as well. I still have some things in the bay to delete/shave but I was really wanting to see how the harness loom would run first before I did anything. Excuse the valve cover paint chipping, waiting until the winter to powder coat them. After some discussion and thoughts on what I will need this is what we ended up with. Sorted by ignition signal wires, grounds, injector low side drivers and some random wires like datalogging switching, launch control in, etc. that will stay inside the car. http://i.imgur.com/Cv5pHpi.jpg Feeding the harness through the stock location. This is before we cut all the power wires for injectors and coils to length, this also includes all the other feeds/returns for all the sensors I'll be using. (Coolant tempx2, IAT, IACV, Crank Pos sensor, and one of the stock cam position sensors so I can have a TDC reset in order to run fully sequential spark and fuel.) http://i.imgur.com/FgO11pP.jpg This is a sloppy picture but this is the finished product. Once the writing is off the coils it should really clean up nice. Just need to get those valve covers wrinkle black'd and it'll look like a whole new car. http://i.imgur.com/NVclk0G.jpg Next up should be valve stem seals which will be a total pain in the ass (and back) to do in the car. Once I source those and order them today I'll hopefully be installing them next weekend.
  7. Ohio Crank. http://www.ohiocrank.com/ It will be a haul but well worth it.
  8. One benefit (to you at least) would be usually with good credit you can get stupid low payments new, sometimes 0.x% APR. This will barely make up for the hit in depreciation you take in however long it takes to drive it off the lot. No, the expense of a vehicle will not hurt or help credit. Research how credit scores work and you'll see what they usually look at is payment history, credit utilization and credit history length. In most situations it would be best to get a payment you know you can afford no matter what and not stretch yourself thin just to get it paid off quick. A missed payment or two can drop you quite a few points unless you are already in the shitter. At least this is what I've learned from my research and what I've been told over the few years I've worried about credit scores. Also, don't let Kia/Hyundai's warranty length fool you. That is only for the first owner (10yr/100k). The second owner gets a more typical 5 years or 60,000 miles of powertrain coverage. I'd just say to buy a used 2011-2013 that came off lease, someone would have (hopefully) taken good care of it, you are getting it for around half of MSRP and you still have a good chunk of warranty left.
  9. I see you have a lift. We should become best friends :gabe:
  10. Is the wife going to drive the 16 second fast car there?

  12. He wasn't asking where a notary was, just how to get the title filled out correctly.
  13. I herniated 2, never got treatment, no therapy or nothing. Just really watch what I do and don't do anything dumb. Every day I make sure to stretch my back out before work and doing anything. I know what motions make it worse. My pain lasted 4-6 months and I still move just slightly the wrong way and feel the pain. I've heard good and bad about surgery. Some say it works, others say it was the worst decision of their lives.
  14. Wow, didn't know kids were using that stuff this young now. I was almost in high school before we got a computer at home. Different times I suppose.
  15. Is it or the race going to be on cable?
  16. I've been banned from that page for two years now. I would never consider a pothead a friend, but I'm thankful for your kind words. But as memory serves me, the one time I met you Cordell introduced me to you, then you started saying some stuff.
