Not to hate on this but.... does that background look like its blurring past at 200mph or is the camera just really able to capture it that crisply? Any time I've been over the middle triple digits everything tends to be a bit... blurry

Looks awesome, wish we could figure out how to get the free time in order to compete in one of these! Maybe next year!

All I want to know is, do they each send you a different shirt to wear so you are "Official" or do you have to go with a nondescript khakis and polo?

Unfortunately the newer CPD Chief stomped on the throat of the Friday/Saturday night cruising and did their best to discourage Good Guys from maintaining their relationship with Columbus. This also marks the 3rd year in a row we have had MASSIVE weekend evening paving projects going on which cause all sorts of traffic snags. One thing you would think they could put off given he millions of dollars brought into the city from this annual event.

They back you up to the tower and you roll through the lights at about 30-40mph. Actually works out pretty decently. A few of the rolls at Trails are on SCT video I posted to YouTube a little while back if you want an eyeball on how it works.

So so so SO not un common you don't even want to know. Especially given everything you buy is "re-manufactured" the quality control on some products is... frustratingly frightening.

On Good Guys weekend? YOUCH. Definitely won't be able to make that.

When is this?

There are a couple of his pulls in the massive video I posted to our YouTube page a couple days back. Unfortunately I missed his big runs and the transmission issue run during a frantic trip to Jegs to resolve a boost leak issue.

Distracted driver? Looks like he wasn't paying any attention to the fact traffic was stopping ahead of him until the OH SHIT moment

There were a few big dogs last year that didn't show up this year, I know of at least 2 7 second capable cars that won't come back to Trails because of traction/wiggle issues on the track surface. All in all though, really good day of racing!

No problem, didn't do anything overly flowery or exciting with the edits just wanted to put something out there for all those who came out and made passes. LONG day of filming and a whole lot of clips together but hopefully it's something those who made passes can look at

Just posted the extended edition of the video from SCT with basically all useful footage we got, it's long but we tried to include every possible run. Definitely some highlights from a few CR members in there.

You reeled in and embarrassed a $100,000 Z06... I would call that a serious win on the day!

You know we'll be on board as always Doc, out there doing what you do is an inspiration for all of us who can't/don't make it to these events. Another great cause to get behind this year, safe travels on the road through some gorgeous parts of New England!

The Pre party even for those who don't want to go out and handle the track turned out really well last year. Ended up with easily 400+ cars through the evening scattered all over the place with music food vendors and even a few dyno pulls. Worth a free stop by for anyone in the neighborhood.

Will be at the pre party the night before at Carlyle, it's right down the road for us and there was a very impressive turn out last year. The day of racing is pretty fun as well, lots of bigger fish come in from around the region for the event and 1320 Video comes to film as well. We'll be running the IS300 in the Roll Racing Street class this year

Had something very similar to this happen with my SE-R Sentra, traced it down to a semi loose ground wire passenger side top of the motor. Drove me absolutely nuts until I tracked it down, needed about another full turn to fully tighten then that issue resolved. Now of course the motor blew about 200 miles later... but that's a different story!

How's the Jello diet doing? Nothing like an enforced liquid diet to shed some unwanted poundage! Glad to hear he's moved and now ready to start moving forward, can't imagine the weight off the shoulders seeing him back up and bitching.
