Some very nice looking shots, awesome turn out for a rather chilly morning. I guess the "other" one was cancelled due to a "chance of precipitation" so even better for us! And kudos to the the C&C law enforcement making sure people didn't do burnouts
-
Right now I'm honoring the $70 alignment price on pretty much everything so the Jeep GC would fall under that. We would LOVE to have the Fiero back on the rack one more time! Just let me know when works for you and we'll get it dialed back in. Especially now that it's working right

I'm baaaaack in Country and ready to help out with all your alignment needs on toys, race cars, and baby haulers!
-
Hey guys and gals, just to give you a heads up. I'm going to be out of the country until the 21st so won't be able to take care of your white glove automotive service needs. Of course the guys will still be working hard and turning wrenches while I'm gone but any specialty stuff and custom work you will need to postpone plans for a week or so until I return. Just a heads up, and thanks to CR for your continued support!

Did the AutoInterest program 2 years ago at Mid Ohio and had an absolutely awesome time. 20 minute heats all day, had probably 2 solid hours of on track time per day. Have never had more fun driving one of my own cars to the limit like I did there. You can have instructors ride along with you to teach you car control, braking points, proper lines, racing etiquette... definitely money well spent. **** Make SURE your ride is ready! **** These days are HARD on components, after the weekend was over I needed new tires/brakes/brake lines(blew one ending my weekend) and some suspension components replaced thanks to a 4 wheel drift into the grass.

Yep still available, just have to make sure we get it scheduled. Now that we are into spring it's busy busy busy until Fall but I'll still take care of ya'll. Just shoot me PMs and we'll get things figured out and scheduled.

Unfortunately don't have the POs information. Essentially it's a '77 Spitfire with an upgraded rear axle setup that doesn't seem to match anything I can find. Called every british racer shop I can think of and no one seems to know.
-
Have a customer with a '77 Spitfire set up for AutoX/Road Rally and we are looking for some info. A previous owner has done some heavy modifications but we have 0 documentation. Anyone happen to have vast amounts of largely unuseful knowledge on these things?

Thanks for the opportunity to work on it, glad you are enjoying the change. Amazing how much gears and some good exhaust can increase the fun level of a Mustang. Oh and believe me when I say I'm glad I didn't have to call you to tell you the brakes wouldn't clear your wheels Always here to help the CR community!

Two 300zxs and a 240sx? Well you certainly changed camps and whole different level of toys! Welcome!

I happen to know someone with professional audio video recording equipment for this when it's time to make her fire I'm sure we can get you setup to get some awesome stuff together. Great work so far, keep up the artistry!

Know these guys well, they are right down the street from our shop. Very good product, we have used them for everything from frame coating to jeep fender flares to bed lining. Warrantied product and install as well. They do a LOT of dealer work (IE. ALL the Caughlins)

Robert Porter, he's the President of the Ohio G/Z/GTR Club. Great dude very social extremely active in their community. HUGE member base
-
I think I know someone who will run the Subaru side And I'm sure Robert would take care of the G/Z/GTR Club
-
Registered and ready to post all too often as usual Are we segregating car type or giving sub forums to other types? IE Subaru Crew, Ohio G/Z/GTR Club, etc etc

Before you ever buy one, get under it. They are extremely simple to work on, repair, upgrade, etc and the aftermarket is second to pretty much nothing. You can literally build a jeep with parts that show up from the UPS guy. We currently have 3 wranglers in the shop, 1 with an engine replacement, 1 with engine work/upgrades/frame repair, and 1 with brakes/exhaust work. Once it gets warm they are fun and worth it but don't buy one that's already gone or you'll be pouring money down a hole. net photo upload
-
I'm sure many of you have seen my posts over the last year or two about shoots we do in the garage highlighting customers cars we have worked on/built/maintained. Figured I would share a little bit of the stuff we did this past weekend. how do i upload a picture

Good to see you got it resolved, those bolts can be a major PITA!
-
<--- doesn't have kids <--- hangs out all the time <--- doesn't own a mini-van Don't lump ALL of us into you boring old folks who aren't into events and more than bench racing any more! But welcome back, definitely catch Saturday morning C&C as everyone else has said.
-
Welcome! Actually just passed on picking one of these up myself a couple months ago. Can make them plenty fun for not a ton of $$$ and the parts support for them is surprising. Definitely get one to the CR Track Day!

If you are looking for a shop to give it a once over you can certainly reach out to me, Lucore Automotive has a bit of experience in this realm "Rebuilt" engine has sooooo many possible outs its not even funny. One persons "rebuild" is another persons "headgaskets plugs and wires" We are in NW Columbus near Dublin if you are interested please feel free to shoot me a PM.
-
Should be a quick and easy replacement. SOME of those can be a major PITA the generics you get at most tire shops won't replace. We've run into this on some MINIs as well since they are now BMW. Your options at that point are, buy a new sensor from BMW or... Buy a new sensor from BMW Essentially though yes, the TPMS sensor sits inside on the valve stem so brake tire off wheel, replace sensor, remount (balance) activate new sensor, program to computer.
-
Sounds like you are on the right track, unfortunately that's not a quick and easy repair you have ahead of you. Most shops you are looking 6-8 hours of labor plus parts so you'll quickly be up there in the 700+ range all in

I absolutely understand the appeal of the mobile installers, I spoke with our rep at TR about that when we were getting the account up and running. Nice part about mobile installers is you guys show up as 0 miles away from pretty much everyone, very handy feature. We'll see how the relationship works out. Tires are not a big part of our business, just a nice extra way to get a warm touches with customers. Can't hate getting a future potential customer for little to no work
