  1. Whaaaat? A mustang that can turn?
  2. So for at least the first part of the season we will be running a 87 LX mustang in some AutoX while we get the engine/suspension dialed in to move to a new platform. Question at this point is, what kind of shoes to put on her? It's going to be a street class car so quick but not anything we want to be running a full race slick. What have you liked/disliked/seen coming into this season?
  3. Not a problem we'll get you set up
  4. I can schedule you for next Monday the 22nd, no problem at all. Do you have custom specs you are looking for or just want it riding straight and tracking true? We have a night/weekend drop on the side of the building if you want to drop it during off hours.
  5. We are here Monday-Friday 8-5 Typical shop labor rate is $96 per hour, we do CR rates at $85 per hours. CURRENTLY we are running a CR alignment special ... http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=125618 That I can squeeze you in on for about the next week and a half. We almost never discount our alignment services but we are doing this for a bit longer to get cars ready for race/show season and also start a relationship with us. Would be more than happy to get you taken care of. Shoot me a PM if you like and we can work out details/what you are looking for/scheduling
  6. We ain't skerd We do a ton of work for slammed/bagged/stanced rides. Our alignment rack has the long ramps to a sloped section of floor, pretty much if you can drive it we can rack it
  7. *raises hand* Lowered, raised, or stock we(Lucore) can handle all your alignment needs
  8. The only difference between doing the Timing Job @ 5.5 hrs and adding the Water Pump @ 5.8 hrs is .3 hours which is about 20 minutes. That's fantastic that someone was able to get it done for the number you were looking for though glad to hear you got taken care of!
  9. Today is a bust, have a dragster with all new frame and suspension getting done. I can get you in for Next Monday though if that would work?

    So meets?

Rolled into the QSL Friday meet this past weekend around 9 wasn't much to see. Although there was also some huge Corvette meet going on as well so they were crawling all over the North end could have scared some people away.
  11. Moorespeed definitely knows what they are doing when it comes to those motors, if they can't get you squared away feel free to reach out and I'll see what we (Lucore) can do for you. Hopefully you're already done and out rumbling around again!
  12. Typically when you are doing a FI swap you are doing it below, I'm actually in the process of doing something similar. As long as the setup he is getting comes with full tuning capacity and isn't just a "self learning" unit though I imagine it should be fine. You'll get data from sensors that should allow any tweaks and adjustments necessary.
  13. Very curious how this turns out, keeping my fingers crossed!
  14. Certainly something we can take a look at, there's a pretty huge range of causes that you would need to just work down through. Has it ever run correctly? Modifications other than EGR delete? That's something we would start with some diag time to at least get some starting points then have a conversation. Welcome to one of those "$200 or $10,000" jobs
  15. Knocked out yet another CR Alignment today, making sure you guys are all flying right and staying tight in the twisties! Times almost up for this deal, don't miss out!
  16. I'm here several nights a week working on my own toys we just aren't "open" after 5 If you want to swing it out tonight I'll be here for a bit after hours, have to get some new shoes mounted and check on a shifting issue.
  17. If you're in Dublin you are right in our back yard (Lucore Automotive), we are in Plain City right by the new Costco. You'll recognize the shop by all the old school muscle cars and fun stuff in our parking lot We can definitely take a look at it and see what's up, likely could squeeze a peek at it next week if it's something you can drop off. Feel free to check out our reviews on Google/Facebook/wherever
  18. Whoa! Not sure who quoted that but Gut Lawd that's a deal! Just a friendly break down so the community can see some transparency here. Timing Belt Job : 5.5 hrs Water Pump Job : 5.8 hrs (So call it 6 to be overly cautious) Spark Plug Job : 1.9 hrs (Includes removal of plenum for 2nd bank plugs) So in hours alone you are essentially at 8 hours. Typical shop labor rate you are in the $100 range, we do CR Labor at $85, and in labor alone that's eaten up the entire $800 quote and parts/fluids aren't even involved yet! Whatever wizardry they are pulling you best lock that price in!
  19. Very fair price. You can try Bulletliner out here by us in Plain City they do a lot of those as well. Can't promise anything on pricing though.
  20. Love that he bought it right, but always shudder to think what his end investment is in $$$ alone not mentioning time. ** says someone preparing to go down a similar dark path **
  21. Three cheers for Clay and Tommy! Very very cool event, really enjoyed the film and Q&A afterwards. One hell of a life story that's for sure.
  22. Sounds like an awesome turn out unfortunately I had a funeral or would have been there as well. Thanks for the videos and sheet posts so I can bench race with all of you Also small cheer from Plain City that the Fiero is moving along FINALLY!
  23. For anyone who's been mildly or more annoyed with bikers doing whatever they want with little to no police interference... sometimes there's a little brutal justice. *** Disclaimer : Not Condoning this but it IS kind of funny ***
  24. Just picked up 4 tickets, can't imagine there are many left at this point.
