  2. You know, I think I saw something somewhere where Subaru's gather to socialize interact and vape..
  3. Would have been there but haven't finished our new Subaru "Shop Truck" yet
  4. Non turbo forester that's current on belt/waterpump is certainly a good idea. DD'd one for quite a while and loved it. You'll have to be skilled with the right peddle to squeeze 28mpg out of it but that's not unheard of.
  5. http://blackflag.jalopnik.com/driver-dies-following-multi-car-wreck-at-eldora-speedwa-1786498825 Was NOT a good weekend for us car folk here in central Ohio. Whether accident or negligence it's always sad to see one of our ink pass on.
  6. Technically it goes until the of this month, just something we initially started because of all the new little childrens that are driving freshly purchased used cars. Figured we would branch it out also into some other groups so here we are. On the Odyssey all things being equal if it was just a rotation you shouldn't need an alignment. Sounds like your rear settings are out of whack and the tire has worn incorrectly so when it moved to the front it caused the pull. Of course, we can always check the alignment real quick see where it is and we'll know the answer
  7. Gimme your tired your crooked your gang of z06sszszszzz
  8. I know the guys at Noebull pretty well, sold them parts when I ran the Bethel Advance store, pretty good guys. But no one beats us Get me your redneck toy and as long its something I can get on the road and it's "Safe" I'll get it done for you. Might make you said a Waiver but... we'll get 'er done
  9. Hey you know me, always willing to over share!
  10. Performance Auto Spa out here near us does Vinyl wrapping and stripping. Talk to Jesse, not sure on pricing but they do damn good work
  11. We're a Monday-Friday kinda place, too busy having fun on the weekends to work
  12. For those who aren't in the Facebook universe and may have missed the ad we are running right now on alignments.. Full standard alignment for $49!! With standard pricing at $50 for front only and $95 for all 4 typically this is one hell of a deal. And you won't find anyone with better equipment and know-how! Act now, while supplies last... or something. What about lowered cars, lifted trucks/jeeps, and racecars you say? Well we can do those too! On custom alignments you are typically looking at 2 hours of work which would bring you in the range of $192, however with this special going we will credit you the promotion so you'll get $50 off the top! WHACKING PRICES! On a serious note, many of you know us and have used us for work and we appreciate your patronage. Just wanted to extend this offer specifically to the CR crowd. Any questions, or to schedule feel free to post or message me.
  13. Welcome to the wonderful world of, Oops I broke it... well I could do stock parts for X.. but performance bits for X + ... Glad to hear it all seems to be working out for you!
  14. I'm all for setting up some sort of cruise/fund/show/whatever in commemoration, really rocks you to the core when someone you saw just minutes before was full of life and smiling then gone. Always sorry to see bad accidents happen to good people. Thoughts are with his young family he left behind.
  15. Not to poo poo on BMW/Mercedes but there are other routes out there to happiness with a wrench in hand aside from working on "Rich people" haulers. Can you make good money doing warranty repairs and brake jobs on the same cars over and over again? Sure. Would it bore me out of my damn mind? Absolutely! "Variety is the spice of life." is not just a catchy quote, when you are confronted with new and different challenges on a daily basis you are less likely to just start going through the motions. Is working at a chain shop doing 14.99 oil changes and hanging tires a good path? No. That's miserable, shitty, degrading, terrible work so do yourself a favor get your learn on and get yourself into a quality shop that will value your talents. Make enough to happy, live a good life, and have some toys... but do it working on something that keeps you interested and engaged or the numbness will eventually set in.
  16. Saw this as well. As if it's not already hard ENOUGH to find good trademen out there, the skilled blue collar worker is slowly becoming extinct.
  17. This is exactly why I didn't have the Stealth out there this year, rolled the dice far too many times last year and with the brake line explosion slowing down from the back stretch it really rocked me how quickly I could have destroyed that car (and me)! Looks like you were able to bleed off most of your speed from the photos, could have been far worse. Glad you are OK, I'm sure quite a bit shaken but as others have said live and learn from the experience. First time out on the track at Mid-Ohio it really gives a whole different feeling of what speed is and how to control your ride. Good luck with insurance!
  18. Caramel and Peanut butter...Sooo much Caramel and Peanut butter...
  19. Happy to see we saved you from hell, Friends Don't Let Friends Buy Used Minis!
  20. So just to ask this, once its tested if it comes back and there's something wrong engine wise where does that leave you standing? With the policy cancelled can you get anywhere with a supplement? Fortunately I've never been down this road personally. Definitely not how I imagine you two saw your dueling Mustangs going!
  21. I shouldn't poke this sleeping dog but, how's the Mustang doing?
  22. So, it's 8:20, I wonder how the test drive went? Old Mini = Be ready for repairs New Mini = Buy the base model, enjoy the HELL out of it under warranty
  23. Wait wait so you want a reliable car and are looking at a first gen "New Mini"? This was in the time when BMW didn't wholey build the car so they were known to be a bit of a pain. Cost wise right now you can definitely get into a Mini at a decent price but there are some things that can/will go wrong eventually that are painfully expensive.
  24. Ohh yay more fun toys Looks like you are really pulling strings and building the business over there Jeff!
  25. Any Advance/AutoZone/Napa/O'really should have a bench tester for Starters and Alternators, only possible snag could be do they have the pigtail that plugs into your socket type. Not all shops have all connectors, and many have disappeared or been broken over the years. Have you bought a multi-meter yet?
