  1. Would appreciate some community feedback on the shoot, the car, the dirt and rocks. Before we start full court pressing on the Forums/PR campaign we come to you experts first!
  2. Why must it rain on race night? I'll come stand around for the wet tshirt contest with you all. Should be leaving the shop around 4 Edit: Omw to the Pig!
  3. I'll be there right after work in the ScoobieRoooo!
  4. Of all the things I own.. I don't have anything chevy or chevy powered But this IS right down the street from me can definitely roll over
  5. I think it goes without saying that everyone who meets you Doc appreciates you for who you are and what you do. We will be kicking in at the $100 mark and give you something Lucore to display. And if you need a tshirt/hat/coozie I'm sure we can find one, just make sure to get in Matt's Smoking tire episode in it!
  6. Send me more wheel and tire business and I'll buy more wheels Wanna hook me up on something super sexy on a super super sexy discount for the Forester?
  7. Now those neat little wind shields would look GREAT with a certain sticker on them.. selling spots NASCAR style? Ala Fig Newtons?
  8. She sounds good! Glad she went back together easily and all issues are resolved, enjoy it for some excellent top down rumbling this summer.
  9. Hopefully it's a quick reasonably inexpensive fix and nothing important or frictional got cooked. This is when we appreciate the qualities of oil on a "dry start" Just remember...if something breaks....it's a great time to upgrade
  10. Just to bring this thread up to speed, engine is in, all piping installed, new Cobb Stage 2 tune installed for break in/shake down. All new Calipers/Pads/Rotors installed and looking smexy smexy, new suspension is on. Moving right along, time to do some oil changes and put miles on her! http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20150610_142344_725_zpsclkdhadj.jpg http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20150610_142401_033_zpshdwiqtpg.jpg
  11. <---- still at work and the weather seems to be getting shittier by the minute over here in Plain City..
  12. Coffee, donut, and wash your balls! It's a big day!
  13. Hmmmm I was considering hitting Marion County...but...
  14. Should scoot along nicely with that setup What are your goals with the car? Eric H tuned our Forester through CTD when they were still paying their light bills and it turned out wonderfully other than a bit of miss communication. Doing anything beyond just the basic bolt on path I would certainly go with someone tuning it specifically for you, the gains are far better as is the level of certainty all the parts will work together SAFELY. Nothing says sad face like finally getting your baby running, loading a tune that isn't quite right and blowing her up.
  15. PM sent. Suspension and brakes should be done by tomorrow afternoon... provided David doesn't want to buy it and have us build this thing into a monster!
  16. On this car it's going to be a hopped up WRX, the money just isn't there for us to build one of those without a buyer standing here cash in hand. Now with that said, we certainly COULD do one rather easily for someone should they be interested. I happen to have several 2.5 blocks in various states of "built up" that would certainly take care of that..
  17. Just in case anyone is curious at its "Stage 1" levels
  18. It won't be cheap, however it's being done right and will make someone one hell of a nice ride. Either that or I'll turn it into my parts go-getter and put the white Forester up for sale
  19. Are you getting all ANSI in your pantsie yet?
  20. Kind of why we are building these things Much love for these earlier generations of Subarus and who doesn't love a brand new 04-05 Subaru? Also you don't have to worry about "shade tree" fixes, everything is done properly and documented.
  21. It will be up for sale once it's completely back together and we verify all issues are shaken down. Also need to put some mileage on the clutch/flywheel before we let her go as this will have our name on it. Anyone interested in it though, we can certainly discuss once she's completed tuned and running right.
  22. Pretty much anything you could kill in this motor, was killed. But, as we say, it's just an excuse to upgrade http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20150521_140246_zpssr25bqt1.jpg
  23. This one will be for sale once we finish it, basically going to be a brand new 2004 Sport Wagon when we are done with it. Some of what was on it is salvageable, much of it was not. The stock clutch and flywheel were so badly ragged that they were literally FUSED together which was an interesting problem to overcome. Once we dropped the oil pan out of the thing we were greeted with .. http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20150507_154124_zpsztnmhy1b.jpg http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20150507_153716_994_zps85mo7tws.jpg Three of the 4 rods/bearings were so far gone/destroyed/warped/farked that we had to literally BEAT them off the crank shaft. http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20150512_145000_941_zpsjgcerbwc.jpg http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20150512_145427_904_zpsduemxh7n.jpg http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20150513_092847_zps0bxdmxyi.jpg And or course as per typical when you blow up a Subaru.. http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20150513_090427_zpsbwif9rdf.jpg So, in summary bottom end destroyed, top end not doing well, all sorts of chunky metal bits floating around and/or missing, intercooler and pipes broken, brakes nearly fused, suspension snapped... got our work cut out for us for sure!
