No Alcohol will be served. Just fizzy bubbla and water for those of you who are health conscious. I'm going to make sure to do my no-rain dance so the weather behaves its self, none of this 40 days and 40 nights of raining BS.

Don't really want to estimate on its current tune as its not set up in rip your face off mode. If you wanted to do some big injectors and tune it...Well you can google what a Cobb Stage 3+ can do

Who wants some weiners!? It's cookout time! As many/most of you know by now I'm working with Lucore Automotive out in Plain City, essentially west Dublin, and we are now a CR sponsor so figured we should have the folks out to chat and meet with our people. On top of that, there will be food, non-alcoholic beverages, and music! Yea yea so anyways, it's a cookout. All of you people are invited. Bring your rides, bring your family, come out have some free food and see the shop. There's talk of even having a hot dog eating contest possibly... Winner gets some sort of free shop service? Interested? ;) July 18th 11am-2pm some rain or shine, we will have the shop open so worst case we hang out inside.

Lol the golds are on the Forester at the moment, can go with the car if the new owner would like them. Figure most people do their own wheel/tire setup on these when they buy them so why waste a perfectly good set? But, this is all negotiable for a buyer. If they go with the car the go with the car. Not looking to make a ton of money on this car, just cover the parts, pay a fraction of the labor and put another cool well built car on the Columbus roads.

99k on the body, about 100 miles on the motor, clutch/flywheel, suspension, and brakes

Pretty much anything we are posting a build thread will be for sale once we are done with it. It's a way to put some more cool fun reliable rides out there in the Columbus community, the more of them rolling around town the better to promote our business. Even my white Frankenwagen may go up for sale here in the next week or two as we are about to start putting together the DeadBlack one....

Well, the wagon is finished, sounding sexy and ready for sale. So here we go, up for grabs is our recently finished 04 WRX Sportwagon in World Rally Blue! This is a 5 speed car, in that most Subaru of colors, in a much desired wagon configuration ... all the fun of a sporty/rally car with the utility of a small SUV! Car has been completely run through from nose to tail and ready to make someone either a very fun daily driver or street fighter, what do YOU want it to be? Set up on a very conservative tune right now, swap injectors and retune it you have one extremely mean wagon. For more photos and information on this car, check out our Instagram @LucoreRacing. Pricing and options are available with this purchase as we can "Build to suit" once the sale is complete. Wheels/tires, larger injectors, etc can all be worked out. Asking price is $16000 as this is essentially a brand new motor / trans setup. And now for some photos! Please excuse the mud, its apparently going to rain for 40 days and 40 nights here in Ohio. http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/WRX%20Sportwagon/IMG_20150630_163938_801_zpsjcfdgvba.jpg http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/WRX%20Sportwagon/IMG_20150630_163851_235_zpsfjiwb4ji.jpg http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/WRX%20Sportwagon/IMG_20150630_163922_892_zpsoglwtygp.jpg http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/WRX%20Sportwagon/IMG_20150630_163958_114_zps22ntvqdt.jpg http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/WRX%20Sportwagon/IMG_20150630_163906_804_zpszfpnzp5h.jpg Tein Lowering Springs KYB Front and rear struts Cobb Intake Ported intake manifold powder coated (purple) VF39 Turbo APS 725 FMIC with piping Catless up-pipe Full 3" Magnaflow Turbo Back exhaust Hillman MBC set @15.5lbs Fully rebuilt top and bottom end New gaskets, seals, bearings, rods, pistons ARP Headstud kit New Subaru OEM Oil Pump New waterpump/thermostat New crank New Flywheel, clutch, and throwout bearing New Denso 02 sensors Walbro 255 in tank pump New stock painted calipers Racing pads (front and rear) Cross drilled high temp rotors (front and rear) Cobb V1 AP Tuner running stage 3 tune Misc: Boost and AFR center cluster gauges Short throw shifter Yakima roof rack

Completely rebuilt motor, everything down to the bolts. As for what's in it? Here's a list! Tein Lowering Springs KYB Front and rear struts Cobb Intake Ported intake manifold powder coated (purple) VF39 Turbo APS 725 FMIC with piping Catless up-pipe Full 3" Magnaflow Turbo Back exhaust Hillman MBC set @15.5lbs Fully rebuilt top and bottom end New gaskets, seals, bearings, rods, pistons ARP Headstud kit New Subaru OEM Oil Pump New waterpump/thermostat New crank New Flywheel, clutch, and throwout bearing New Denso 02 sensors Walbro 255 in tank pump New stock painted calipers Racing pads (front and rear) Cross drilled high temp rotors (front and rear) Cobb V1 AP Tuner running stage 3 tune Misc: Boost and AFR center cluster gauges Short throw shifter Yakima roof rack Car is running on a very conservative tune right now but more than capable of putting down some serious power. As we didn't want to ruin fuel economy in case someone just is looking for a fun DD we left the stockers in however with some higher flowing ones, turn up the boost with a tune and you have quite a monster. Going up for sale as we speak, asking $16000. Will make a post in the proper sub forum here in moments.

Feel free to swing in any time. We are going to host a CR day for everyone to come out and get to know us, about to toss that on the Calendar as we speak! And as for pricing absolutely we do we give a 10% discount on all labor for CR members.

Ah the ability to tether unlimited data I used 6GB of data over 17 hours on a trip to Florida, kicked my phone into Hot Spot mode and had 3 laptops/tablets streaming content the entire trip. Now, I had to leave my phone plugged in the entire time and it damn near melted through the dash but yippe! *From one of those who holds onto his Verizon unlimited plan with a death grip

We have been kicking around the idea of doing an offroad/baja version of one of these. Lift it, put some crazy muddy tires on it, guards and plates, roof rack and spare wheel... unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much of a market for something like that and it just becomes yet another "Shop Toy" But, if some one wants to go that way we are more than willing to build it! Would be nice to do something lifted for a change other than the standard jeeps/trucks!

It's always sad to see a historical race car go, but at least it ride a warriors death doing what it was bred and built to do. Not rotting away under a car cover in a seldom seen museum.

Well picked this thing up down in northern kentucky a couple weeks ago because it just needed to happen. Can't have some free time without another project car right? So here's the story. Car was repo'd from one state, sold in another state to a guy in another state, then purchased by us...from yet another state. Are you following? Per the ad it ran but smoked, upon arrival we discover that it runs WITHOUT the turbo on it but smokes...which is an interesting experience if no one has seen/heard one just running an up pipe into the hood. So, load it onto the flat bed and bring her the 3 hours home. Needless to say, she's not in a healthy state so the engine has come out for an inspection and most likely rebuild. At this point everything is up in the air, we ARE building this car for sale so... if someone wants to step forward to speak for the car we'll build to suit. Otherwise we will do whatever crazy ideas we and the community come up with and sell it afterwards. So here we go! http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20150624_203737_511_zpswmneqhpv.jpg

And I'll drive something with windshield wipers this time
-
Ugh ... Joe's But...hard .10 cent wingies? Ugh... FINE I'll be there!
-
Even with a massive drop it still Subaru'd pretty well, took it through some mud puddles, did some slides around on the dirt and gravel all with that distinctly Subaru rumble. Anything you see from us is "Technically" for sale so if you want to take this one of my hands.. we might be able to talk about it Keep in mind, we JUST finished the Blue Sportwagon however it hasn't been detailed/shot yet also we are beginning a black version of this very same car you see here if someone wants to step up and call dibs on it we can build to your spec..

I can't believe this thread is 7 pages long now..but...I can feel the twitch happening again...must...not.... play......ahhhh!!

Looks like July 18th which is a Saturday is pretty free, don't see anything going on with the SCCA, Miata Club, or any major shows... what say ye!?
-
Yes yes I know, just as always I like to reach out to ya'll to see what would best fit into your schedules. The past 2 car shows we had some very solid CR turn out and would like to continue that trend.
-
Been kicking around these thoughts for quite some time, finally making something happen. We would like to host the CR crew out here, do some hand shaking and get to know us as well as sling some burnt/semi burnt weiners and burgers. So, with Good Guys not far away on the July 10th weekend that kind of is out of the question, but what about late July early August? Putting this to the community as we would like to see as many of you as possible. This will be a meet & greet, cookout, car show, photo op, etc... Give us your thoughts!

Being a shop car we kinda need to leave the front plate on We actually took it through the mud/water/dirt/grime a few times to get the splash shots and did some nice "Rally" slides as well. Even with a MASSIVE drop it still Subarus!
