  1. And as usual here in Ohio this summer when we have lots of things to do...now it starts raining and thunderstorming AGAIN
  2. Everyone have the photos they need from that batch? If so I'll start uploading the others. It's nice to see some of how your driving style and car react to the track, lets you see load shifts and suspension travel... and how Tom can't keep his car under control
  3. I bet I know some people who could help with that
  4. Figure many of us will be at Cars and Coffee tomorrow morning, then just roll up to the shop do a lil cookin for lunch let you guys get to know us a little better and then on with the day
  5. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/qbkfpptcg4vyaf9/AACZp6bmL-uVQiEtmtYzxfmra?dl=0 Drop Box link for the first half of the photos we shot. Will leave this link active for a few days then put up the rest of the photos
  6. We can accommodate! Hopefully everyone realizes are here to help support and fix the CR community! Cookout/Meet and greet is from 11am - 2pm on this Saturday the 18th at our shop. 7245 Industrial Parkway Plain City, 43064
  7. Everyone is welcome in whatever they feel like driving, just setting this up as a meet and greet
  8. Want us to come get it with the tow truck so it can at least be here for you in spirit?
  9. I'm uploading the photos to Dropbox right now and checking through for decent video other than someone burning off hundreds of miles in donuts
  10. Looks like the weather MIGHT behave itself and give us a decent day for the cookout on Saturday. Either way we will have the interior available for cars if necessary we can get 10-12 cars inside. Is anyone interested in getting some "Shop Photos" done? Can have one of my local auto photographer friends come unless you want to just take your own. Anywho, hope to see you all there! Well.. er... here.
  11. Best of luck with your decision and new trade
  12. Well we have made it through Good Guys / AutoXing weekend so now looking forward to a week of rain followed by this awesome cookout! Tell some other members, get some friends involved, lets see who all we can get out here!
  13. Ouch Draco very sorry to hear that If there's anything we can do to help out let me know. Will keep fingers crossed its not a total loss on the engine, but on the bright side breaks me upgrades right?!
  14. Price drop, someone give this thing a good home or slap some injectors and a tune on it and turn it into a 2.0 monster! **** Asking $15000 though there IS room to negotiate on price/parts/options *****
  15. Always happy to help and donate for a good cause, hopefully your trip is awesome and not too exhausting! Have a hell of a journey ahead of you but it should be great experience for a worthy cause
  16. Most people arrive between 8-9 but you can really get in whenever you want, we move in and out all day. It can be a VERY long day if its hot out but always a good show of some awesome cars. And old shit boxes
  17. You know I'll be there. This weekend I don't plan on sleeping much at all with everything thats going on
  18. Wait wait people still buy BMWs? I thought it was just leasing these days?
  19. And as was the case last year we have done a wonderful job as a host city of making it hard on "Hot Rodders". Every hotel on 161 is working on closing due to being a whore/drug house, 23 / 270 will be under construction so dusty bumpy and generally shit till 2020+ The place to be is usually Busch/161 as most of us cruise through there then back up and down 161. The cops were very supportive last year which was nice, only saw a few people get in trouble for burnouts and most of those weren't "Good Guys" just local idiots wanting to impress the crowd. You also have a LOT of people going out to the Vintage Drags that night as well, people running their cars you can see at the show. It's going to be a great weekend!
  20. Nobody? Come on now... some of you Keyboard Cowboys have some underlying tendencies..
  21. Bump, tell your friends tell your CR mates lets get some people together!
  22. Perfect weather solid turn out.
  23. Are you planning on doing anything with it? Will the suspension setting be used for anything other than occasionally feeling "sporty" going over bumps? Optional aftermarket suspension costs/attractiveness?
  24. GLWS! Unfortunately finding financing on older cars is still quite painful
  25. Wanted to give the CR people a chance at this before putting it out there for the masses, later on today I'll toss it up to the rest of the internet and let them nibble on it. For a comparative examples within a 200 mile radius.. http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/inventorylisting/viewDetailsFilterViewInventoryListing.action?sourceContext=&newSearchFromOverviewPage=true&inventorySearchWidgetType=AUTO&entitySelectingHelper.selectedEntity=t17037&entitySelectingHelper.selectedEntity2=&zip=43064&distance=MILES_200&searchChanged=true&modelChanged=false&filtersModified=true#listing=104785260 However that car is: a) The wrong color b) Lists new clutch only c) Is in Crackron d) Has more miles e) Completely unknown history versus documented rebuild Many of you who aren't familiar with how desireable the car don't get the values some of these cars go for, but that's what the open market is for.
