  1. Sounds kinda weird right... But pretty much... Actually about the FRS/brz though.
  2. I might go out with a friend if its not raining... And my little sister is really interested in an FRS figure the subbie crew with the brz will be out so she can talk to them.
  3. I'm going to say 500hp...since thats about where I want my S10 to be as a daily driver.
  4. I wanna go, I wanna go, I wanna go!!! But sadly I don't think my S10 will pass the tech... Between some rust, some stuff might not be within their specification of safe and.... I think my front tires are only P rated.
  5. I'll be there around 930 tonight I just want a damn milkshake lol.
  6. I might pop over by sonic around 10 tonight.. Just washed the hoopty and my heads are SHINEY. I'll also be out tomorrow night most likely with a buddy in a RSX from Troy.
  7. 2 weeks ago Finally got the transmission lines installed....without removing the exhaust or transmission.... only cut a bigger hole in the floor but I got it patched back up. Now sporting -6AN Braided stainless lines on both the fuel and transmission lines. Upgraded from a junkyard special plate/fin transmission cooler from a 2500 series van to a 15,500btu (24,500 gvw?) Brand new B&M stacked plate cooler http://36.media.tumblr.com/a6ff72fc3ab7a7a6f8d066290f070ec7/tumblr_nm9t6kNURM1suerqbo2_1280.jpg http://36.media.tumblr.com/2012d64c7e4b79cd555de0bf9dae3a3e/tumblr_nm9t6kNURM1suerqbo3_1280.jpg I don't know if it's just because I didn't drive the truck for almost 2 weeks or if the new lines actually improved the shifts. But after topping the transmission off with fluid it FELT like the shifts were a little more precise and just felt smoother and one thing that has not happened since I put the new lines on is the transmission has not gone into high pressure mode.. So maybe the rubber lines were flexing enough to really screw with the pressure? (Would really like to find the Line pressure PID for torque ) Sunday found that my 23 year old coolant tank had a huge crack in the bottom... and instead of being ghetto and using a NOS bottle with a hose barb or spending the money on a new factory tank... I went to jegs and got a $18 recirculating overflow can. http://41.media.tumblr.com/e3fc1f80f4cc3c1db826433c8bcb0732/tumblr_nmph9hjMBb1suerqbo1_1280.jpg and a REALLY late picture of under the front after the 33mm sway bar got installed http://41.media.tumblr.com/bae29a1ad47b5967e099518f941ef2d8/tumblr_nmph9hjMBb1suerqbo4_1280.jpg *don't mind how crappy the exhaust looks at this angle* Hopefully this summer I'll be able to save up about $1,000 to buy all the body parts I need (Fiberglass fenders and hood, new inner fenders, new rockers, power doors, Toyota front bumper) I've priced the new stuff at just under $600 But I also want to por-15 (or like product) the frame. this summer I'd also like to get all the electrical fixed, clean up my under hood wiring, refinish the dash, and just kind of start making the truck LOOK as good as it runs. Looks like a second job will be in order to make sure I have the cash to finish everything up this summer....
  8. Lol no I don't vap... I was the Black pos s10 parked next to the white S10 That made Mine look like 100 times shittier. But I think I was louder than it and the Pontiac....whatever it was that kept holding it on The rev limiter. I didn't leave until the burnouts started...
  9. You need a big CF wing... Or something lol. I'd say just do the shocks, they are easy and good shocks will help the ride and handling
  10. It's not super expensive or anything but I took my girlfriend to haiku for our first date.. sushi was pretty good and their mixed drink are..... Expensive but delicious
  11. Gotta replace transmission lines, fill up with gas and wash the transmission fluid of my truck Friday.... I'll probably be out Saturday morning... Not a big F&F fan so, no movie for me.
  12. Sounds like a romping good thyme.

    Sat 3/21?

I'm just down the street from the casinp and my GF I out of town.... But I don't think anyone wants to kick it with a sick guy.
  14. Call up Jared at Current Performance Wiring (CPW) I've never dealt with them but everyone seems to swear by them... each harness is made for you, so it is pretty expensive... but it's more or less plug & play.
  15. I honestly have no idea if he works on anything other than chevy but Doug Mann at Mann performance did my dads race engine.
  16. Yes just a standard LR4 So I'm still lost on a cam and springs. But what about ported/polished 799 heads milled down to 60cc combustion chambers?
  17. But I want to keep the lower displacement so it will rev higher, faster. I know it sounds weird, but I just like the sound of fast revving engines. and with a 83mm stroke and 96mm bore. rebalancing the internals, upping the valve train and doing some stuff to just straight up make more power.... I don't see any reason why a built 4.8 couldn't spin up to 7,500 and get there relatively quick.
  18. I knew it would happen....after I went from the 2.8 to a 4.8 I still want to go faster.... Not a lot faster....just a little bit.... And since I don't have funds/transportation or anything else really to tear my truck apart and rebuild the engine... I'd like to build a second engine. Ideally I'd like to get about 400whp more is fine. don't want anything crazy since I want it to run on pump gas since it will remain a daily driver. But here is my idea: Firstly I want to build this as a 4.8 so I'm keeping the stock Stroke/bore "bolt-ins" JE 7.5 dome pistons LS6 intake Scorpion roller rockers new "stock" lifters & retainers No idea on cam/springs yet Cometic .030 MLS head gaskets ARP everything! Machine work Balance the rods within say .5gram port/polish & Mill the heads down just a little 60cc chambers (should be right at 11:1) port/polish the Throttle body Does that sound like it would make 400hp?
  19. An X-pipe helps to scavenging a little more than say just a cross over pipe. don't really know what the benefits are other than that and obviously balancing the right and left exhaust
  20. Hopefully it was just the weight on your FJ estimating my truck weighs around 2,800lb but It's also gotta stop my truck from high speed......
  21. I put the pads on my dads 2005 silverado with stock rotors, Dad loves them and I also put the drilled/slotted rotors & Z16 pads on my sisters 2000 sunfire with no problems at all. And from what I can tell they LOOK like decent quality rotors... I mean the rears are just solid discs... but the fronts look on par with oem.
