  1. I'm not sure I'll be able to make it since there is talk of them forcing me to work Friday because of the holiday. which means I'd only have Saturday off work.
  2. Ford 8.8 is 2.5 or 3" wider than the 7.5. can be used as is with high offset wheels of you can shorten the left tube and use two right side axles for use with stock offset wheels.
  3. Depending on what you are doing.... Just go to car-part.com find you a 4.8, 5.3 or 6.0 from a truck. Deercreekauto was pretty nice when I bought my last 5.3 they won't usually come with alternator, power steering pump or A/C compressor nor the brackets. some will have the water pump and harness. most places will even have a PCM that average about $60-100 But from my experience it's best to just replace most of that while the engine is not in anything. Figure new accessories cost about $500 combined with $400-1,000 for an engine. then buy a rebuilt transmission which you can get cheap... early 4l60e's had some issues. then buy a good rearend and brakes you are still well under $5,000. if you want an actual LS engine from what I've seen LS1s go for $1,000+
  4. Edco on Philippi. they have a lot of them but you have to ask for them... just tell'em what size you need.
  5. Well.... Since NO ONE ELSE has said anything... I'm probably going to be up there with my girlfriend and some other people, in her riced focus. Probably won't bother entering the poopty.
  6. I'm so confused... Why is everyone an asshole? Depending on how today goes, I might swing by with my girlfriend for a drink or two.
  7. Bikes are SOOOOO easy to work on.. I partially restored a 1981 Yamaha when I was 14 and maintained two 1980's Kawasakis. replaced the head on a Ninja at 16 and never thought twice about it leaking. I live by the casino so if you have a garage, I would be more than happy to help you clean it up and get it running... I personally think It's better to learn first hand than to have someone else do it. for tires... go to MPS on the east side literally next door to Groveport madison high school. Great service and will pretty much do whatever you ask them, unlike Iron pony which has "rules" after I wrecked on of my Kawasaki's they unmounted the tire, straightened the wheel and remounted the tire for like $25
  8. Man I kind of figured there would be at least a small group from CR going Guy I'm taking with me lives right up in Troy, so my planned route takes me down 75 through dayton
  9. I've got just basic arc welder that I did the whole exhaust on my S10 with... I mean, they aren't the BEST looking welds, but they don't leak? If no one else is willing to do it, I'm sure I can give a crack at it.
  10. Dunno, does this go in the meetings even since it's not local? Move if needed LS fest in BG is coming up September 11-13 and I'm planning on heading down Friday morning with my dad and a close friend in my LS-S10, though I won't be racing, just spectating & camping. Just figure I'd ask if anyone else was going?
  11. Damn kids and their instahams. Sorry if I'm reading this wrong but people now days will do anything to get followers on Instagram or Facebook even if it means stealing other peoples work and throwing a filter or lens effect on it. Something about them thinking if they get so many followers/likes they will get that internet money. I know I'm probably the youngest person here but for the most part my generation is a bunch of fucking turds that think life is going to be handed to them for doing nothing.. Kinda like all those kids my age that roll around in cars you know mommy and daddy paid for.. They just think they are better than everyone else.

    Meet tonight?

Heard from a friend Polaris got shut down a few weeks ago and I haven't been back? Is that still a thing on Saturday? If not anyone know of anything going on tonight?
  13. You that's my baby, a real piece of shit lol.
  14. Bunch of nice old cars out here, surprisingly I'm not the shittiest thing out here.
  15. We got it done at Ironman welding on Harmon by i71 apparently I used to work with the guys son at UPS.
  16. I'll be there, girlfriend actually wants to go.
  17. Pretty simple right. I need somewhere or someone to weld a crack up in a stainless pipe. It's T304 and I think it's 18g . The crack is on a header on the first bend after the flange if that matters. Already called mad hatter they said they can't do stainless.
  18. Installed long over due rear shocks and cheap-o traction bars. The shock mounts broke at the threads so I cut them off flush with the spacers, drilled them out and tapped the hole for ½-13 (or 16 I dunno) used two 2½ stainless bolts and pressed a 1/2 x 5/8 x 1" sleeve into the shock eyelets to make the fit snug on the bolt and...well it worked out pretty awesome! the bars look crappy 'cos I just threw some blue plastidip on them I had left over from the wheels. but anything is better than the yellow had to do some testing for science... Obligatory video http://leameperdue.tumblr.com/post/126854580459/skkerrrkk
  19. I don't think you are supposed to use those on aluminum heads
  20. Throw in a bottle of LA's totally awesome and you'll be golden. that is what I used to clean my heads....minus the dishwasher. but hot water helps
  21. totally misread that and thought it was "touches"
  22. Marathon on Summit & 11th I KNOW have 110, they might also have 100
  23. oooo, looks like the body is going to be a little more aggressive like the C7. yay for sharp lines!
