  1. There is also an option to upgrade the leather on the 2015s to nicer stuff that you almost never see because no one seems to know what the option package does.

You get nicer leather on the seats, upgraded stitching throughout, and nicer door panels.

  2. had a lot of difficulty navigating it despite the fact that he was given the checkpoint locations in advance, along with written directions to them.

Which is funny because plenty of other people manage to do it solo. :)

Good thing he didn't sign up for Big Sky if NY to MI was too far for him to drive. He might fall off the edge of the earth getting to Billings, MT.

  3. I know that when I stopped at a dealer in Michigan they used a 4 post lift on my car that had another little lift along the inside of each rail that then lifted the car another 6 inches or so they could take off the wheels.
  4. As a casual onlooker who has driven by (on my way to SCCA autocrosses) I think Doc hits the nail on the head. My only .02 (and maybe this is done already) would be a place for folks with race cars (non street legal) that want to bring them out could park with their trailer and roll a car out the back. I don't have anything that interesting that I drive on the street. Maybe two rows of parking spaces with the aisle blocked off - pull straight through and park your racer in one space right behind your tow rig. Other than that - KISS seems like a good plan!

The entire lot on the side of the theater is always empty. Plenty of room to unload a trailer.

  5. Couple of questions for the group:

    - If there was a cruise, is 9am too early? Would you drive to a cruise spot departing at 10am instead, going to Lennox Town Center?

    - Would it help if Lennox' parking lot was better organized, with areas to park clearly designated? Not cordoned off based on make/model, but just better outlined?

If you leave someplace at 10 to get to C&C by 10:30 lots of times people start rolling out by 11.

I think parking works the way it is. People decide how in the mix they want to be. If anything maybe something to suggest not parking in the first 5 or so rows closest to the theater since they get surrounded by normies early.

  6. Yeah I guess I had thought if I had a back up generator I would get internet. But I guess the node also lose power so it really doesnt matter.

I think it's disgraceful that they are allowed to operate as a phone carrier and are not required to use UPSs on their equipment.

  7. what are some tips for the crate training? By that I mean how do we get her to stop using the crate as a bathroom at night? We take her out until she does both before putting her in and we take away food before 730, and water an hour before bed- different nights is different times, food is constant times though

Your crate may be too big. If the dog has room to mess in one corner and lay in the other they will not figure it out as quickly.

  8. did you get the install tool for the LCA bearings? that is a want on my long list of mods for the car, along with vertical links.

Not yet I planned to take the lower control arms somewhere once they are out and having the bushings I'm changing pressed in. Not my daily so the car can sit for a while on stands.

Full Tilt Boogie sells a bushing tool for $60 though. We could give it a shot and pass it around since we'll each only need it once. At worst with that we'd just need to find someone with a 20 ton press.

Once the rest of my parts are in we'll chat about borrowing your shop. I'm more than happy to come hang out and tear into stuff.

  9. What those without it, say ;)

I know Aaron is just kidding. Nick can attest to the fact that I was very specific when I ordered the car. Every option is on my car, or not, for a reason.

My needs for the car are a little different than most people. Basically a grand touring jack of all trades. I prefer things like a spare tire over an inflation kit when powering through 4500 miles or so in a little over a week on a schedule.

Lots of people who paid for the PP are tossing all the pieces they paid extra for, I just chose to only pay once. :)

  10. That is a ton of stuff - are you taking it road racing?

It gets run hard on the road quite a bit. Also autox just for fun (I don't care what class I end up in) and a couple times on the track each year.

I've only spent about half what the Performance Pack would have cost on the upfront cost of the car to have a much better setup. The other features of the PP don't interest me much.
