Hey Nick, really sorry this happened to you. I’ve been searching FB and CL for you man. One suggestion I would make is to check your neighbors and see if they have Ring Doorbells that might have captured the footage of who took the car. You can make a bunch of cool stuff for part mock ups or tiny little models. I have a Markerbot Replicator+ https://www.makerbot.com/3d-printers/replicator/ I use mine to print Warhammer 40K Armies to do test prints, or small car parts to test fit things and stuff. They can be VERY expensive and the print times can sometimes take hours, AND if you are fearful like I am, you can wake up and find a fucked up print that was scheduled to take hours. It's extremely frustrating to restart a print. I love 3D printing, MicroCenter has a great selection at a reasonable price. Realistically, you could get into it for <$350 with a "good" printer. They make cheaper ones, but honestly... you get what you pay for IMO.

Well, so the car was detailed and looked good... I can see why Rocky made the purchase without looking at the underbelly. Though.... the detective work is not done here.... What does one consider to be a bad frame? I hate to be "That guy" but since this is in fact the kitchen, and you were not happy with your purchase, I think we should take every angle into account here. Was the frame really that bad? or was it just not up to your standards? We need pics of the underbelly... If you are going to call someone out, then why not show us all how bad it really was. I was originally on OPs side, but i'm beginning to think that Slimpsy was on the up and up when it came to the sale at this point.

Few things that I noticed... Slimpsy - How TF did you pay $500 to have something fixed for you, but never look underneath it? Based off the CEL codes needing to be read for you, it sounds like you don't do much work on cars, or don't have the time. I find it a little fishy that you did not know about frame rust being that bad... but that's just my two cents. Rocky - My dude... you paid $1000 for a $1000 car, you HAD to of known what you were getting into. Honestly, while Slimpsy might have not been completely up front with you about the rust, I honestly don't think it's entirely his fault. It was a shitbox car and idk what time of day you went over to pick it up, but with the weather we have been having, I'm willing to bet there was not much sunlight... so... yea... You Boomers need to stop bitching about $1000. I got fucking bills to pay and College debt to worry about... Now shut up, shake hands, and fucking help cure ChronoVirus or something... Good Lord!
