lol, it's a V6.. I at least have 2 more cylinders under there if you look close enough, Thanks, it is fun to drive, and was in budget. My body is ready for anything critical to come from anyone Kerry is Kerry... he let me know from the moment I wanted up to him how he felt. Would not have it any other way. I did not know what he was doing behind me until I saw the video. Not sure (honestly)... Did a Google Search and only GT and some of the higher Ecoboost look like they could come with magnetic suspension. But, I have learned to not trust some sites... I will have to look deeper into the car some more. Yes and Yes. I am VERY happy with the car. It's a lot longer and wider than the 8, and I am still getting used to things. But I am allll smiles to move on.

This was far more fun than I thought it would be going car shopping. Big Shout out to those who gave great suggestions and even offered their own cars for sale. I did actually help in the process and made me look at cars I never thought I would consider.

it's a stick. I'm not buying an automatic anything. I can tell you that much. there are plenty of things I plan on doing with this car down the road. I can understand having driven the V8 and then driving the V6... I get it... but... I will say that the V6 is no slouch when it comes to acceleration. Now, Mind you....V8 all the way. But the V6 is making good power and is punchy. hmmm... so did I go for old GT? or new V6? dunno... we will find out when I change my sig and post pics. um...honestly... I don't want this.... um...Small PSA, if you don't like the car I buy... please feel free to tell me directly. Im not afraid of flak, but you all are my friends and family... so... not like I have to ask this, but just be honest if you don't like it. What I am buying has room for improvement in the future and I am purchasing what I am because it is reliable, fits the budget, and is fun to drive. I don't need an egotistical dick stroked... 9 pages in feels like more attention than i actually expected this to get. I honestly thought it would be "LOLZ Rx-8 DeAd, LuLz RoTaRy Iz Baaaaad"... but there have been a LOT of great suggestions in this thread... more cars then I actually considered. I think the reason this "looks" like im making it hard, is because im more vocal than most. I'm taking a lot of time to read what people post and actually get excited to read, but I think im a little "too" vocal about how I feel about different cars. If anyone is reading this and stuck it out... im not trying to sound insulting for your suggestions... I just like the conversation. My issue is that I treat CR like a real life conversation and sometimes the context is lost. Deep Breath... Yes, I own a condo and pay a mortgage. Ashley (my fiancée) lives with me. We both have full time jobs and make ~$40k each. We have no children, no current car payment...and a ass load of college debt. Does this answer your question? or you want more info.

Kevan has suggested this to me a few times... I have someone who wants to sell my a 1997 Dodge Ram pickup with a busted trans for $400. used trans and I rebuild kit would be ~$2000 and the transfer case seems to be intact. Only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger is the potential reliability of the car overall. I need something that will start every morning and not fail me, thats where i'm at. Any doubt that the car will start scares me away from doing the truck. But yea... I will keep this in mind for sure. I would love to stash some money away for the Mustang I want. :thumbup:

oh... imma fail this shit REAL fast... C5 Corvette S550 Mustang ND Miata BRZ/FRS GTI Ferrari 458 The C5 would win on the looks department. Pop up headlights and a sleek body are all I need to keep my eyes from looking away. I've always loved Corvettes, but the C3 is my all time favorite. the 1969 ZL1 is (in my mind) the only time they actually made a car look like a stingray. S550 Mustang is the best mustang body if you want to pretend you have a european sports car... The S197 has more of the MUSCLE CAR, kinda vibe... I dig it and would love either of them. The rest of the list I would take it or leave it... I did not put the Ferrari at the bottom because im being ignorant... Idk why, but if I had THAT much money... I feel like I would be numb after a while to the number of nice cars I would see, much like a feel now about unboxing the 1000th fucking computer in a shipment. I love tech and love unboxing tech...but after so much, you get numb.
