  1. Someone asks what you are doing and shows that they have a holstered concealed weapon... you don't attack them. you talk your way out of the situation. if said person reaches for the gun, then you defend yourself. the last thing you're going to do is try to jump on someone who just showed you they are armed. If you did the above, then you deserve to be shot for breaking the law and attacking someone.
  2. lol, those shoes def wont stay white for long... idiots

  7. Things are looking even better for the defense from what I caught during lunch. Their expert was really able to paint the picture of how things went down and explain all the jargon into layman's terms for the jury.

  13. This is the Cat earlier in the day loaded down. Don't know much details on it. They keep it pretty tight lipped lol. All boats are in-board. http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a314/owndjoo/cat.jpg I think the Baja is actually a Hammer, I think that's what it had written on the dash. but I'm not sure. Don't know shit about boats haha
  14. I was on my buddy's old v-bottom. it's just a heavy pig 22' with a 355. we only hit 55 with 3 of us and a full tank of fuel. his brothers had a smaller Baja 18' and the twin motor Cat "burnin water". the baja does 70's and the cat has gps'd 130mph, but I dont think he got it all the way open yesterday
  15. he said he went 1:01's, and the picture looks dry... btw, nothing better than lapping a wet beaver...
  16. We had 3 boats out on Alum yesterday. My first time on anything "quick" lol. If you heard a few boats making some loud passes that was probably us. One day I'll join the club and buy one lol
  17. What's your bike number again? I'm hoping to be perusing the paddock this weekend. Would love to stop by
  18. Lap times aren't the biggest deal in moving from intermediate to advanced... I mean sure you don't want to be waaay slower, but the key is that you are competent with passing and being passed. Holding good lines and not getting spooked by the fast guys are the bigger things. You will naturally progress into lower times just from riding in the advanced group. Those times, imho, are plenty quick to move up as long as the above stated things are in good order.
  19. that's pretty cool. I def. agree that there are a ton of CCW instructors out there. I was looking into it, but I'd think I'd rather stick with the more enthusiast type tactical stuff. Hard to find a place to do it though haha.
  20. I'd be interested in chatting about some advanced courses, maybe do a little consulting. I am an Air Force combat arms instructor with a good bit of advanced combat training both armed and hand/hand. I was considering doing the CCW classes like you are doing, but it's a haggle trying to get state approval without just doing the NRA instructor course.
