i have that jacket i think she is wearing. tourmaster epic in dayglo yellow. its my cold/rain jacket. i had a black waterproof, but i just can not see any sense in wearing black rain gear... unless im TRYING to get run over. not sure how much it helps though. i mean it helps you stand out at the least... but you gotta think. people still pull out in front of fire trucks. gigantic red trucks with loud ass sirens and a thousand flashing lights. if they arent gonna see a fire truck, they are not gonna see shit.

has anyone played this game on Xbox Live Arcade? its pretty fuckin awesome. my buddy turned me on to it the other day. its sort of like a bad ass version of excite bike. you control gas, brake and leaning the rider forward or backwards. there are a ton of different tracks, plus mini games and there is also a track editor, so you can make your own badass tracks. if nothing else, download the demo, its free and gives you a good taste of the game. if you want the full game its 1200 points, which IIRC is like 15 bucks. well worth it though!

i did find one place that supposedly rents buells, a BMW 1200 or a ducati monster S2r 1000. they are like 150 a day though... but the island isnt THAT big. you could probably devote two sold days to riding and ride almost the entire island. i was hoping for something more dual sport... i want to ride the road to hana. something like 600 curves on the 52 mile trip! i guess it takes 3 hours at least. once you get to hana (going clockwise around the island from the north) i read that the road turns to gravel. i also read that many of the rental agreements specifically state that your insurance is void if you take their bike down that road. rental cars go over curbs and stuff much easier than my personal car does. i assume a rental bike will be the same way

maui specifically. going out in november! cant wait. im super psyched. anyone ever rented a bike out there? how about one that was not a harley? on my cursory google searches, it seems that harleys are pretty much all thats available if i have to ride a sportster so be it, but id prefer not lol.

rack the slide by catching the rear sight on your belt is about the best ive seen... not the most ideal scenario especially if you are fighting someone with the other hand but it IS possible. honestly its probably not a bad idea to practice that kind of stuff. you never know when you may need it. most ppl cant predict their emergencies. same with shooting with the other hand, or different grips, stances etc etc.
