  1. biker and driver are both idiots.
  2. im fairly sure the only time you'd need an inspection is to verify the VIN if you have a pre-99 bike with an MSO or bill of sale, or if you have an out of state title.
  3. yes you can make a 2 stroke street legal. http://bmv.ohio.gov/faq_vehicle_titling.stm 5th question from the bottom: I have an off-road motorcycle titled in Ohio. I have now brought it up to code for on road use and need to change the title. How do I do that? You would take the off-road title in your name and proof of the upgrade to your county Title Office and request to complete a "body code change" affidavit. If all is in order, the title will be replaced and reflect the body code as "MC" motorcycle. You would pay a fee of $15.00 plus notary fees and take the new title to the Deputy Registrar and apply for your motorcycle plates. You must have the motorcycle endorsement on your Ohio driver license to operate the motorcycle. you have to have a title in the first place. all dirtbikes sold in ohio after, i think 1999 had titles. you probably dont any type of inspection if you already have the title. if you have an MSO or something, then you may need inspection to get the title. i think in this case, they aren't doing a safety inspection, its just to verify the VIN. then you have to sign a form that says your bike meets the requirements for street operation (headlight, tail light, turn signal, horn, mirror). pay the money, and you're good to go.
  4. but can i inseam one cent on another tool?
  5. but i want to get waxed on price.
  6. just curious, did you have it wired and some RTV on there?
  7. to get the old chain off you can just use a cutting wheel or dremel. just cut through the side plates and pull it off. if you want to use the clip, like other said, safety wire it and put a dab of RTV on there. if you want the rivet, then you will need the tool. if your new chain is longer than your old one you need to figure out where to cut it. once you figure out how long you need it to be, just take your cutting wheel or dremel, and cut off the side plates of that link. then use your chain tool to press out the one pin and you're ready to install. i have the motion pro tool. its not too bad.

  9. with the questions like, nice day, or what kind of bike, or the classic "you ride a bike?" when they see you with a helmet... they are just trying to be friendly and dont know what else to say. its just like how you default to talking about the weather when you dont have anything else to say. just because someone is in a car doesnt mean they can't realize its a nice day for a ride... snappy comebacks just make you a dick to someone who is just trying to be friendly.
  10. came here for bubb rubb. was not disappoint.
  11. get out of here with your reason and logic. this thread is to get people riled up with misleading information!

  19. so the news report said that the chief was in trouble because he didn't report this incident to the mayor like he is supposed to... i guess my question would then be, if they felt the officer acted appropriately, why would they be trying to hide it?

    Bullying advice.

you need to a) document everything that you can. (remember ohio is a one party recording state. so if you speak with someone on the phone, only one party has to consent to recording it i.e. you). record anything you can. the administrators, the teacher, the school cop... they will all say one thing to your face, then deny they ever said it. b) talk to the teacher/principal whoever and call them out on this. if they know its going on, and they arent doing anything about it, then you need to raise hell.
  21. lol floor buffer? i'd encourage students to check this out. i worked there for a while. the pay is crappy since its a student job, but couldnt ask to work for a nicer guy. plus, if you're really lucky maybe shitty will take you to speedway for slushies.
