My dad is looking to move on.
He currently owns and runs a BP, with a 2-bay shop, full service fuel, and a small grocery store. He's been there ~25 years. Before that, he owned a Texaco. Before that, a RedHat (bonus points if you remember those).
He's turned wrenches and managed a business and his employees for 40+ years. It seems the need for helpful, full service neighborhood gas stations just isn't around anymore. In the past few years, large companies have killed off every other privately-owned 'old-school' station. Except for his. Tough to compete with Walmart & Krogers, when they offer 'loyalty' perks.
Anyways, he's looking to buy a business / work somewhere for about 10 more years until he retires.
If you know of a company between Zanesville and the East side that an older dad/ younger grandpa type would fit into, please throw it out here. Local businesses for sale are of interest also.
