Attention squids and statistics waiting to happen..........
lemosley01 replied to Science Abuse's topic in Daily Ride
Are you a troll? The few posts I've seen of yours are fucking retarded - it's amazing that you made it through childhood, much less made it far enough to actually purchase a motorcycle and ride it around on the same streets as the rest of us. First of all, street racing is ILLEGAL and it IS dangerous. There is no sense in making it moreso by pissing off other motorists in cars. Second, a motorcycle hitting a car at speed can do PLENTY of damage and hurt and/or kill the driver inside the car, especially if it causes the driver to lose control. A friend of mine years ago smashed into an S-10 pickup on his F3. He was killed and the truck was totalled as well. The driver of the vehicle was injured, although I don't recall how badly. He was racing someone in a curve when it happened. True fucking story. How many of these dumbfucks are riding without any sort of insurance at all? If you hit me while street racing and you aren't insured, you better hope to hell that you can't get up, because if you do, I'll make sure you get a trip to the hospital. -
graemlins/thatfunny.gifgraemlins/thatfunny.gif 0WN3D! Is this some sort of record? Not even one 'yeah Glenn is a great guy'.

I'll ride, but just some errans and not 'riding the piss out of it' - this is revenue generation weekend for the state.
-
Greg, I'm interested as I am considering a career change. How long has Alan Benjamin been in business? Does travel requires use of your own car? What kind of benefits (health, 401K, etc)?

I can e-mail pics, but GT-Titan is interested right now. PM me if interested. $250 is what is he is asking.

Tell me the SECRET!(now w/ light trigger pics)
lemosley01 replied to DeathSandwich's topic in Daily Ride
Yeah, because we all LOVE spending (wasting) time in court and HOPING that a third-party (the judge) sees it our way, or hope that they aren't just in revenue collection mode and offer to 'reduce' the ticket to a lesser charge. No thanks. -
I agree - dieting SUCKS balls because it's hard to get past that hunger stage and make sudden changes to your diet. I can eat cookies and other carbs BECAUSE I exercise, and it's one of the reasons I exercise. I like salads and meats, but I have to have something else to break it up and desserts are nice. I can eat pretty much what I want right now, within reason. However, compared to how I used to eat, I am doing much better. I had to slowly change my diet. Some people can go 'cold turkey' and just drop everything that is 'not as good', but I never could. I lift 5 days a week and run 5-6 miles 3 days a week. That seems to do it for me. When I started running it was all I could do to walk/run like 15 minutes. I could stand to lose more weight (probably 10-15 lbs), but I'm pretty happy where I'm at (165-170). If I go much lower it would mean a major diet change or MUCH more exercise, and I just don't have the time to exercise that much more. The big thing you have to do with exercise is just do it. Having a workout partner helps, but it isn't necessary for myself. When I first started (2 1/2 years ago) I didn't want to go the gym, but I 'guilted' myself into going until, now, if I don't go, I actually miss it. The socializing at the gym helps some, too. I never really used my weight as a barometer; I just used the mirror and the way my clothes fit (or having to buy new clothes) to judge where I was at. What I weigh isn't important to me, but feeling good and looking good (in my own mind at least) are what gets me motivated.

Why don't we just pass a law that eliminates the bad driver's from the road. Those people are a danger no matter what. If you take away their cellphones, they'll just find something else distracting to do...

Let's discuss mortgage options and opinions on them
lemosley01 replied to Prodeje79's topic in Dumpster
Greg, are you a mortgage broker (just curious)? -
Friend of mine asked if I knew anyone who might be interested. He has an 800 watt RF Punch amp. I believe he said it's 'Birth Sheet' shows it actually output 1050 watts. I don't have all of the details, but if anyone has any interested, I can find out the specs, etc.

bump $40 for the helmet? $40 for the stroller?
-
Bwahahah. And accurate too!

David, I need a stand. Will it work on my bike (03 ZX-9)?
-
Whoa! Was this on the 10R? I'm happy you're okay.

Don't forget to pay the FIA HQ a little visit and express our displeasure with the USGP. Have a great time. I'm definitely jealous.

http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dq/animal.htm I didn't realized the CDC had control in this area, I was thinking it was the FDA.

Ummm...Anthony doesn't check his PMs!! Way to be Anthony; that took a huge amount of guts to swallow your pride and apologize out in public like that.
-
John, sounds like a scam to me. There other problem that you may have is shipping a dog from out-of-country into the country. Animal imports are pretty strictly controlled.

No, that post wasn't serious (at least the part about the French). You shouldn't be astonished by the fact I can maintain a breathing RHYTHM. Perhaps you are easily astonished? You probably still act like my two-year old when she sees an airplane in the sky. Breathing, as is blinking and heart beat are autonomic functions; functions controlled by the lower-level parts of the brain. I could be in the same shape as Terry Schiavo and still not have any problems breathing. Astonished, you certainly shouldn't be. The ability to spell correctly, however, usually is INDICATIVE of INTELLIGENCE, or at least some modicum of it. It's apparent that you have failed this test, although I am, as yourself, not SURPRISED. NOW, before you go banging away on your keyboard to compose a nastygram, I am JUST KIDDING and mean none of the above shit seriously. You torched me, I figured I could give back just a little. graemlins/grin2.gif You got that right. This past weekend is proof positive of it. Shit happens, and I understand that. There are so many accusations flying around, everyone wants to blame everyone else. From where I stand, it appears that the blame lies with no one person or organization, but should be spread around like a cheap whore with a venereal disease. It's too bad, because I was really looking forward to watching this race.
-
I think this was a conspiracy by the French to piss of the Americans and try to make get us to make ourselves look bad on worldwide TV. Too bad they didn't realize we showed restraint; in Europe or Brazil, THOSE fans might have stormed the track and torn the place apart. The whole situation was really bad. I was looking forward to this race. You have to feel bad for some of those fans that took time off and flew into Indy to see this.

There was a mustang in that picture? I didn't even notice because of your avatar. graemlins/leghump.gif Nice car - looks clean, too.

Thanks Mowgli - that is good information to hear. Yeah, I'm working on C#. Your post in the meat market prompted me.

I'll bet that sucks. I think I'll go for a ride...

If I had it to do over again I would do: Law School Med School Law Enforcement (eg Criminology, Forensics, etc). I don't want to work as management, and the other fields just don't pay that well, except engineering and computers and all of those jobs are being moved overseas. I'm very seriously considering finishing my degree and then applying for Law School.

I am looking at the Ohio laws regarding this and they make no mention of signals that are malfunctioning in the sense that they do not trip. Malfunctioning signals: http://onlinedocs.andersonpublishing.com/oh/lpExt.dll?f=templates&fn=main-h.htm&cp=PORC The city of columbus also says the same thing: http://ordlink.com/codes/columbus/_DATA/TITLE21/Chapter_2113_TRAFFIC_CONTROL_DEVIC/2113_041_Driver__8217_s_duties.html It doesn't look appear that there is any provision for legally running a light that doesn't trip, at least not in Columbus. If we get caught, it is probably officer discretion.
