put a 5/16" wheel spacer on that wheel. sounds like your backspace is wrong for the car. mine did the same thing on the passenger side and thats what i had to do before i got the right wheels.

rubbing on one side or both? sounds to me that the 40 year old bushings in the frame are shot.

if the car is in netural then the key won't turn all the way off and lock the column. down shifting to first is to use the engine brakes.

we are in need of 2-3 detailers for cleaning some dirty ole cars that need to be resold. so if your pretty good at washing, buffing, waxing ect. ect. call Ron Tacket 614-866-2311 and tell him i said you were good people, well only if you can pass a back ground check and a piss test. then you are good people.

and if your in a dealer you have to have Master Techs AND Factory trained in that area or warranty claims can be kicked back not paid. they had that happen at coughlin after i left on a corvette, i was the only GM certified vette tech they had and GM kicked back a claim since i wasn't the one that worked on it. matter of fact if your not certified in the area that you are working on (i.e. brakes) and something happens and your not certified in brakes then they can go back on all the jobs you worked on and make the dealer pay them back for them all, warranty wise anyways. i'm sure the same could be had if someone got hurt over something that you worked on and sued the shop.
