yes and no, its happend to alot of people but its not common enough that GM says its common yet. yeah they asked: oil level, coolant level, engine mods, signs of over heating, oil condition, coolant mixing with the oil. then they said go ahead and order the engine. BTW GM warranty cost on the engine alone is $12,323.00 thats not counting labor or gaskets and fluids.

2800 and some change:p . GM was sending all LS7 cars back to blowing green for engine replacement but was "over loaded" with work so it is now up to the dealer to fix it. maybe GM just got all of Comp Cams junk springs lol.

LMFAO i took the head off and was wondering where the piston went. i did manage to get the connecting rod to move though, only about 2 inches though. stay tuned for pictures tomorrow.
