  1. did you think about taking them to a scrapper and seeing what they would give you for them?
  2. those would prolly be a kick ass starting point for a chassie fab table if only i had the room.

    A/C charging

vacuuming the system out also allows for more A/C charge since there is nothing in it to fill the void (ie. air) red neck over fill method 101

    A/C charging

sounds like a junk fill tube and gauge. if you want you can bring it by tonight with 3 cans of R134a and i can recharge it with my gauges and vacuum pump for $10.
  6. it could also just be a loose wiper arm nut. we get them all the time for that so check that as well as what everyone else said.

    Jegs on 11th Ave.

i've always had to give them part numbers to get the right stuff, there are only a few there that know anything about cars.

  13. only get to work on the car for a few hours after work but the doner car is 95% striped just wheels and tires on it now. and now working on my 67, finished the dash and consol today and took a few pictures, tomorrow i will weld the column to the new DD shaft and hook up the steering. Dash Mock up http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/67CameroRestore005.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/67CameroRestore008.jpg Dash, consol and column done! http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/67CameroRestore012.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/67CameroRestore013.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/67CameroRestore010.jpg
  14. it does the bulb burnt out thing and the change oil light but it could also be a body control problem and you can use a OBD II scan tool to check the code it set.
  15. the only tip i can offer is to transfer my CC balance to your account and let you pay mine off as well.
  16. molested classic? nothing is molested on my car BTW ruthaford auto body does some pretty good work from a few friends cars i've seen.
  17. my bad.....i still stand by what i said for the second part though:p
  18. driving lessons? silver duct tape and a wad of towls to fill the void?
  19. Shake and Bake.....That just happened!
  20. why not 15 inch wheels with wire wheel hub caps
  21. loose nut behind the wheel? i think this is going to be way too hard to figure out unless someone lissens to it. a fan clutch can make some odd noises as well.
  22. when replacing new tires you put the new on the back to brake them in since braking traction is not as good on a new tire then on a seasoned tire. this is what GM says to do and there reason why. rotating tires is suposed to go rears straight to the front and the front cross and go to the back this way they make it all the way around the car for the most even wear and every 5th rotation they are back where they started.
  23. i ran them on my 67 camaro and unless you use 10/90 shocks they are just like a normal spring just a little stiffer. don't waste your money.
  24. stan vent owns that place, he used to be a ohio state trooper so that explanes alot about him/his family being a bunch of dick heads.
  25. for that kinda money you would think it would have a better battery and something other than shelfing angle iron to bolt the trans cooler and horns to haha. he must do alot of shoping at advanced auto. http://i12.ebayimg.com/06/i/000/9b/19/d934_3.JPG
