  5. as the only GM C6 certifed tech at the dealer i work for i will tell you to just go buy one and don't even worry about test driving it as they ride like a dream and are fast as shit out of the box. i know we have a red base model on the on the floor for $45k.

  7. GM is very common with that same problem too, its cause by what GM calls "micro corrosion" pretty much just some BS because there too cheep to fix the problem with a good sealed connector.

  9. 1 3/4 DOM is what the SCCA wants used. SCCA cage will work but you have to add the cross bar in the main hoop to the angle bar the SCCA likes.

  18. with out looking at the car but from seeing the problem before you have a BCM problem. BCM controls the fans which is also why your A/C feels like it shuts off. GM also has a PI out for it. if you take it to rob have him check load management status in BCM data display and if it says status is active, with the engine running, disconnect the BCM from the dataline at the star connector (SP205) located at the base of the steering column. If fans operate normally, check that the charging system is operating as it should. replace BCM if it shows load management status is active and the charging system is operating as it should. how many miles are on your car? i may be able to get you hooked up under goodwill warranty depending on milage.
  19. if you pull the fuse with the windows all the way up the doors won't shut if you have them open or they won't open if you have the doors closed so you will end up damageing the weather strip.
  20. add to the fact that there is a chance it might not run since all the computer systems are programed for a 4.2L and that ECM. and all the drive by wire control modules and pedel assembly will need to be added to your list.
