  1. the gun has to be owned by the department, my dad aslready tried to get one se we could play with it.
  2. wrong, J-bodys still use a cable
  3. diesel fuel in injected on the compression stroke just before TDC and the tempatures from the heated air cause the fuel to burn. i don't know about the ford or dodge but the duramax is 16.8:1 cr. runs about 32psi of boost and is 310hp 610ft. lbs. the brand new duramax is 360 horse and 650 ft. lbs. fuel pressure dropped from 28,000 to 26,000 witch makes the engine quiter.
  4. think of all the new bank shots you could make off that beam.
  5. you have to more or less pull the motor, i've done a few at work and the higher you get the engine the better.
  6. << i was into it real big for awile as well, i'm starting to do the pit bike thing. i as well rode for F&S and then KTM but i got out of it as well because of a bad back. and i know most of you guys and everyone that was talked about. i'm looking to get me another bike soon and start racing some more.

    my new front brakes

yeah i was thinking the same thing....ok so we take 1000-10 (we'll go 10 just to be safe) = 990:thumbdown .....he may have a point, i'm going to need a bigger pair of turbos.:grin2:
  12. 5000 is not alot for a diesel anymore, the one in my truck is built to live at 6k and the brand new GM duramax will take 7-8k. and the compression is going down in diesels, mine is 17:1 and the new ones are down to something around low 16:1, they get away with making 650 ft. lbs and 360 horse by increasing the fuel pressure from 21,000 psi to 29,000 psi. this also makes the engine quiter running. i don't know what kind of boost there pumping into that thing but mine has 32psi. factory my truck is rated at 590ft. lbs. and 310 horse, with just a programer i could take it to over 458 horse and 936ft. lbs. thats sweet that someone is getting diesels into racing, gale banks is building a road race truck. http://www.bankspower.com/DmaxTypeR.cfm its pretty bad ass.

    my new front brakes

no those are 11, this is as up to date as there is, i've been building a apartment and garage at my parants place so i haven't had any money for the car. hopefuly i can start working on it again here soon. i am very happy with the kit, for 2 grand i got the rotors, calpers, new hubs, brackets, bolts, master cylinder and the brake lines. also a bunch of shims. not bad since the kit origanily cost $3800. i love group buys lol.
  14. baer 14 inch rotors, 6 piston calpers http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/rotor1.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/calper2.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/calper1.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/wheel1.jpg
  15. my dad loves his avalanch. i'll look at work tomorrow and see what we got, and as for the engine. i would rather have a 5.3L over all the other gas engines. the power is down on it compaired to the 6.0L but that thing will rev faster than any other truck engine. if you want you can take his for a test drive. its a LT Z71 with all the toys.
  16. if those are true LT-1 heads you should be ablt to get more than that, if i had the money i would get the whole thing from you.
  17. i was just out fucking off on my bike.....well my klx 110 lol
  18. thats an incorrect statement. there about the same no matter how you cut it and if you have a slow spooling turbo its the wrong turbo set-up.

    2001 Ktm

i guess its time to get rid of my dirt bike, i really want something else that i can enjoy more often then 3 or 4 times a year. so i'm selling my 2001 KTM SX125. it has pretty low hours and has less than 6 races on it. its very well taken care of and runs like a raped ape. the only mods i did to it is a pro circuit silencer and pro taper handle bars. the bike was never beat to shit, i was an A rider and i got this bike when i was a Factory KTM rider. i'm asking $2000.00 and its got a few extra air filters and a stand and a few other things. if anyone is intrested or knows any one that is my cell # is 614-332-4875 and my name is AJ. this is the only pic i have online and i could get some shots if needed. http://myspace-919.vo.llnwd.net/00220/91/95/220925919_l.jpg

  21. get a smaller carb, a 4.3 doesn't need all that carb
  22. it would have been funnier if i didn't say anything and you came in with something about a DOHC and getting a good timing belt
  23. lol kev you forgot its a push rod engine there is 1 cam unless it brakes than its a twin cam haha
  24. Turbo Turbine Wheel trim A/R Size HP TO4E 60 Trim P-trim .68 580 i talked to 3 turbo companys and all of them said this will work the best. fast spool up and plenty of air. i also talked to Wheel to Wheel in michigan about this set up and they told me it is a good set up. i know alot of you guys think you know what your doing but i have done the home work on this for my car and though for over 6 months about what set up i wanted and what works for my car. i don't just slap shit together. i know of 2 or 3 cars already running it and it works great. 1 of them is running 14 psi and throws down 800rwhp on 94 oct. so i'm not saying it will work for him but i am saying i know its a proven set up. on a side note....call Comp Cams and be sure to get a turbo cam, they have a very low over lap so you will get the most out of your set up. standard cams will work but not be all that great power wise compaired to what you could be getting.
