exact same boat i am in, well that and OSU games but shit there are only 13 or those a year and i usually go out to watch buckeye football games anyway. I have a smart bluray player, that plus netflix and maybe hulu+ (i think their shows are more up to date?) i wouldnt even need to pay for cable. But i wouldnt be able to watch any CBJ games on the tv.

good choice but resale value on older honda's is stupid high and im sure would be for a 4wd crv with alot of miles on it too.

If interior space is a main concern look at an older minivan like a voyager / caravan / town and country. There is like a million of them on the road, basic maintenance is easy, fuel economy is fair but there is a shit ton of space on the inside and if you need something good in the winter just throw winter tires on it? My buddy drove his step-dad's used, beat up caravan and that thing was a champ. huge on the inside, ran well and was cheap. I dont know of any common problems so you might want to look into it, but it fits most of your criteria for your price range. and dont be afraid of the stigma of a guy driving a minivan... plenty of guys bang teenage girls in the back of minivans all the time, they're called pedophiles.

wonder how they would feel about bolt-action rifles? Either way, just another reason to NEVER live in California.

I got that same gun last year from Blackwing for $1050 (with some ammo) with tax. Black magpul furniture and flip up iron sights, simple AR and i thought I was over paying a bit when i picked it up, wow almost 1700 now?!

read the 'jailbreak' thread and got me thinking, what apps do you guys use the most, or find the most useful/helpful?

did you mean 248lbs?

900$ ?! i would say in the current market you got a deal. I agree with Joe, shoot your irons first before getting an optic. Personally my first mod would be to get either a quad-rail (i had a magpul one and its pretty comfy w/o gloves on), ditch the carry handle for a rail up top and get some flip up irons to start, that stuff wouldn't really cost you that much either. Good pick up.

Awesome source of info. He has literally gone over everything no matter how dumb and minuscule you think it may be, he can teach you how to do it. As for not taking a web-based class. Get use to it. Everything is done on blackboard in some form, and if its not "blackboard" every school has their version of it. I actually love the My Math Lab stuff, if you ever get stuck use all the tools on it and it will walk you through step by step. As for the no FT instructors. It really depends on the course and where you take it. For some of my preliminary courses all my professors were adjunct and at site campuses. This semester I'm on main campus and all my professors have offices and thus office hours. However I've never needed to call them or make an appt before. Algebra isnt that bad, its all about rules and laws. Learn the formula, follow the laws and you'll be fine. The only shitty part is its cumulative, so if you miss a class or fall behind you wont know something you need to know to move on.

I have heard the argument that over time Tim Erixon will be the deciding factor in how we "won" the nash trade, that he has that much up-side. I'd like to see it but not at the expense of hurting his growth as a pro, which in the past has been a horrible trait in the CBJ. I thought we looked kinda sluggish in the first game but i was drunk for most of it too. We went to R Bar to watch it, it was packed which i dont enjoy but at least there were real fans there.

If you are going to CSCC they have more than just one tutor program. Peer tutoring is longer than 30min i believe, most of the math labs have instructors that stay there to help etc... Trust me math is by far my worst subject as well but they've always been able to help me.

Had to bold that part, while i love wiz and JMFJ and I definitely like what they bring to our blue line together i think putting them together on the ice defensively is a little dicey. they're both offensive minded, JJ loves to look for the big hit but at the expense of giving up position, at least thats how he's played most of his career. I was surprised to hear they had Letestu running point on the power play in camp. Of course all this could change if they have a terrible start and need to mix up the lines. Didn't they already send Boone back down? I cant recall but they didnt want to burn a year off his entry level contract for an abbreviated season? I might be thinking of JAM or someone else. As for who wears the C, im happy they decided to wait to give it out. The easy thing would be to just give it to Prospal b/c hes the veteran, or Umby b/c hes been on the team a while. I want someone to earn it by what they do on and off the ice and how they speak up in the locker room, if someone deserves to be the leader he will stand out amongst the rest and his teammates will agree. Still want JMFJ to be the captain but we'll see.

27 dead (20 children, 6 adults and shooter) in an elem school in CT

Comparing Indian Run Elementary to elementary schools of today is like comparing a petting zoo to a minimum security prison. When I was that age there were really no regulations on who could come and go, or 'security' per say. These days when I go to pick up my niece and nephew from school I have to be buzzed in through a locked door, show i.d. and still have my sister give them written or verbal permission to take the kids. All makes sense and all of which i completely agree with. Hell if anything I think they could be MORE strict on some of these things. -
Something to be said for arriving fashionably late, mingling with some people, have A drink (singular) and dip out early. Make an appearance and leave a good impression, thats what I always did when we had office parties.

My family does this when the children are young. My nephew is 8 months and i plan on buying in a small toy (he definitely doesn't need clothes or toys) and then donating the rest to his 529. When they're that young they don't care what they get and will more often than not play with anything anyway.

I do side work for a catering company and have been to about a dozen weddings in the past year. I was surprised by how nice North Bank Pavilion was, and it had a great backdrop, depending on the size of your wedding weather could be a concern. The one i worked there was nice though. There's a place just south of Cbus called White Star Farms, its not too bad and cheap but might be a bit small for what you want and it definitely has a "rustic" feel to it, so not for everyone. There's a popular place out in Pickerington that i cant remember the name of, its big and set back in the woods so fairly nice but from what i remember they are expensive and they personally I think they over charge the customer's for what they offer. My brother got married in a small church in london then had their reception in the Greek Orthodox Church and it was really nice. Though i think if you want to have your ceremony there you might have to be a member of the church. Either way the main cathedral was beautiful. If your on a budget there are ways to cut down drastically on what you spend and alcohol is one of them, if you can provide your own alcohol and just pay a bartender that's usually cheaper but make sure your operating under a legal liqueur license, sometimes that's an issue. I know with the company I work for you can purchase the services of a bartender and just supply your own and its ALOT cheaper then other companies. Always get an itemized bill from your venue to see exactly what they're charging you. The place in Pickerington charged the customer for cleaning afterwards, then charged the caterer's the same charge plus the catering company had to pay to use the place and so did the customer. I thought that was a bit much and thats the reason why some caterer's wont use some venues and vice versa so be sure to make sure they're all able to work together. just my .02 , Good luck.

My nephew is 10 and my neice is 8, i usually ask them what they're into or what they want but occassionally i'll have a good idea. This year Michael is starting baseball so im going to buy him a new mitt and bat (he has been using his dads) instead of the video game he wanted, which im sure my sister will buy him anyway. Last year i got him football gloves and a new football and some small stuff. The point i like to drive home whenever i buy him stuff like this, is that regardless of how nice or new or fancy your equipment is nothing replaces hard work. If he want's to be good at baseball it wont matter if he has the newest, nicest glove or bat if he doesnt put in the time and work. As for Makayla, she usually ask's for dolls or girly crap. All of which i just have my sister order what she wants and i pay for it then wrap it. That being said they are pretty well behaved kids and don't act out a lot so i don't mind spoiling them for xmas. Now that I think about it i should probably tell them that. EDIT: That model motor is awesome, I might have to scratch the baseball idea or let my brother buy those. My brother-in-law is an engineer and my nephew is very technical I can see him really enjoying that.

I only read a few replies so i'll just add my .02 cents. I have a few friends that attended "night school" through accredited and legitimate institutions and no one has ever questioned the quality of the education they received. I do agree that you should shop around and compare programs before diving in. I think when you start looking into it you'll be surprised how many school's offer programs that fit your schedule perfectly, you're not the first one to go back to school while working.

My mother has recently had to apply for social security and prior to that I was never really "for" it. Now that i see the other end of the spectrum and i realize that there are a lot of people out there who have it a lot worse than she does, it makes a bit more sense. I wish there were a way that we could simply take all of the people who abuse these social programs, put them in a single location/state/island and let them govern themselves. Pure. Anarchy.

Don't forget that there are literally tens of millions of people relying on that money to live. And that's not counting the "EBT card people" or those who abuse the system, its counting people who have no other choice. Take that away and then there are tens of millions of people with no other choice, living on the street... welcome to the next depression.

Just curious but if you want to save/consume the meat wouldnt you need it processed immediately? And do they save everything? even the rack/head/hide?

The joys of owning an 8 year old car that i could care less what it looks like. But, im usually very careful about opening my door i have dinged the door next to me before, i always look to see if there was any damage or paint transfer. Never has been, no dings dents or paint.

They've done it before and im sure they would do it again given the chance. Not being pessimistic or overly dramatic but the gov't truly feels its better for everyone to confiscate all weapons regardless of who owns them. Mind you, if you evacuate you would most likely take a weapon or two to protect yourself right? (as would i) should you get caught with that weapon in a situation like katrina you'd be arrested like any other common criminal then who will protect your family? Its fucking bullshit.

I have that same exact model only in black Magpul furniture. Its a pretty standard AR. That sale price is good though.
