  1. Sorry if i wasn't clear. It's a degree from OU, the only difference is all of the classes are taken at a site campus (which happens to be on CSCC campus). Similar to graduating from OSU Newark, just without the lifted pickup trucks and farm animals I'm sure (see what i did there? little nerk joke). Anyway, I think this will probably be the direction I want to go in. I've talked to some manager's to see what they look for and its similar to what Akula said.
  2. Ohio University offer's a 4 year program with CSCC but its called a 'Bachelor of technical & Applied studies" not a "Bachelor of Science" (in whichever field/major your in) is this a huge difference? Would a hiring manager look down on this? I'm looking into it b/c I've made it this far without any student loan debt paying everything myself, working 40+ hours a week. Going this route would save A LOT of money rather than transferring to OSU. But I also don't want a bullshit degree after all of that. Any advice?
  3. I threw up on a girl while we were going at it missionary once. true story.
  4. sweet, already have a mossberg 500 but might swing by and pick this up too.
  5. Nice clean truck, any other pics? crank windows/locks?
  6. Yupp, last time i asked about having my trans serviced at Motorkars they said it has "lifetime fluid/filter" etc... which i still find hard to believe. My car has had the same trans fluid and filter (if there is a trans filter in a jetta) for 7+ years? I havent had any trans issues yet though.
  7. Dont you already have a SF G21? Anyway, good price for a Glock, used or not especially with addittional mags.
  8. My mom had a stroke 5 days before my birthday in November. She couldn't talk or do much else and had little to no movement of her right arm. Today she's alot better, a bit slow to speak but much better physically. Doctors say its possible to make a full recovery depending on the severity of the stroke. Sounds like you got him to medical attention right away, there's a 4hour wind medication?) and it will help ALOT in his recovery. My mom waited an entire day and still made progress. So here's to your friend and coworker, hopefully he'll be back soon.
  9. Exactly what i was going to say. If you don't need it for an absolute emergency then there's no reason to do it. I made the mistake of messing with my retirement funds a few years ago when i was unemployed and still regret it. If i need or want something that cost's 10k then i work more to earn the 10k and save for it rather than hurting myself in the long run. Maybe someone else can correct me if I'm wrong but don't you pay taxes when borrowing against your 401k?
  10. The main store is open, which is where they do all of their catering out of. A good friend works for their catering side if you'd like i can give you their number, I'm having them do a small party in a few weeks i THINK they were going to charge $8.95 a head. They also do full hog roasts/pig pulls and other stuff so there are some options not just the regular bbq chicken.
  11. I did that b/c that's where my friends played. Until Martin told all the capt's he was weeding out the C level ringers to make D league a true "D league". I joined a C team and its soooo much more fun. Not saying anything bad about my former team but when you CAN play at a higher level you SHOULD play at a higher level. Sand baggin is no fun.
  12. I had a buddy do the warrior dash a few weeks ago but i wasnt able to attend. I might sometime in the future just to try something different. I found this site of local races http://www.premierraces.com/ there's like 20 just in this month alone so i'll probably do a few of those. ran a second best time of 26:59 today too, not too bad for a fat, cramping, hockey player.
  13. So i was going to sign up for the Cap City 5k, have been "training" for it and everything (i use that term loosely i've really just been running more than usual) but of course its sold out. Anyone else run 5k's? Or know of any that are coming up soon? I would run the 10k but that was sold out also, dont think i could swing the half-marathon. 13miles is a bit long for someone who hasnt been training for it.
  14. I'm the same way, usually don't get off work until 12-1am so making that 6am Friday drop-in is rare for me. I use to hit up wed, Dublin drop-in that started at 11:30am but haven't been there in a while. Last i checked they changed the time and it started at 1pm now.
  15. It was only a matter of time and technology. After the Gov't won the argument that driving is a privilege not a right it pretty much keeps it wide open for them to abuse it. More of a reason to buy a car prior to 2015 and drive it until you die.
  16. Why am i not surprised you have the stick figure family in your rear window?
  17. I was so close to picking one of those up before my AR. Maybe my next rifle.
  18. Ok I'm going to reply without reading anyone else's reply so excuse me if i sound repetitive. I've dated alot, and I've dated women who had kids aswell. My experience is that you have to understand the order of importance and that you will ALWAYS be 2nd or 3rd. So if your the type who wants/needs someone's full attention then keep walking. A rule I always had was I didn't want to meet the kid until 1 year into the relationship. This prevents me from being just another dude their mom dated and was in and out of their lives like all the rest. If your to the point of meeting the kid (and it doesn't have to be a year, that's just what i use, I'm sure there are other extenuating circumstances) then you should be pretty committed to that person. As for raising a kid that's not yours. That's up to you. This isn't the 50's/60's anymore the modern family is a lot different than it use to be so who cares that the kids isn't biologically yours? Then again if you view children as more of a nuisance than anything then maybe you should stay away from them all together, it definitely takes a level of maturity that some guys just don't have. (not insinuating that's your case, just making a point)
  19. Might be convinced to sell my Ruger 10/22 with scope? PM me if your interested.
  20. Joe I'll take 10 please. Thanks.
  21. I really like these and wouldnt mind checking them out for my next car. Though i own my jetta outright and only spend about $40/week on gas so even buying a car with great mpg's will still cost me a lot more so it doesn't make sense for me. Nice car though.
  22. I should give them a little more credit, they were crazy busy when i was there but there was a younger guy that was cool, let me handle a SCAR and another rifle even though i was there to buy a handgun and didn't have any intention of purchasing them. But the old guy that helped me after was a dick. Eh is what it is.
  23. Don't do this. Its stealing and kroger will call the cops. They use Chep pallets and they're expensive so they reuse/recycle them out of the stores and back to the warehouse. If you do ask the manager they might have some other shitty pallets they wont use.
  24. One reason i prefer blackwing over vances. No rush tactics, no "hurry up and buy this so i can move onto the next guy who wants to buy something".
