Out of those, the maserati would be the last one i would buy despite the fact that i think its really attractive. After reading motor trend's review of it, its more of a grand tourer than sports car. The 911 and M3 are arguably more sports cars. Honestly if i were in the market id drive each one before making any decisions.

ZING! Seriously though, i saw Top Gear's review of the LFA, looks badass but not for that kind of coin. If money were no object i would probably still buy a ferrari or Lambo first. The LFA would be the 4th or 5th on the list.

My nephew's birthday is 2-2-02. Congrats.

Cure the gays of aids??? wow, because we all know the only people who get HIV are gay right? So do you really think the only reason to wear a condom is to keep from getting a girl pregnant? When I was single i wouldve given anything for a male form of BC but Clay is right, 99% of guys would fuck up their prescription of taking a pill everyday and get someone pregnant anyway. Not to mention the false sense of security when you have unprotected sex. Sure you may not have a kid but after a good case of Goneria or Clamidia gets done with you you'll probably be impotent anyway so it wont matter.

sean, ive heard that not many of those cars last beyond 100k, seems like you have awhile until you have to worry about that but thats just what i heard from some Ford tech's way back in the day. As for the SVT focus, Ive always liked them, when car shopping a few months ago i looked around and was really surprised to find very few in ohio and no 2 door models, all were 4 door with over 100k.

Before they mentioned this in the article i thought "she shouldve known better" then i kinda felt sorry for her. They obviously knew they were going to fuck her over and loved every minute of it, fucking sleazbags. I wonder if the US has similar laws like this, that prevent a dealership from taking advantage of someone? Ive never heard of it.

This is exactly the situation i asked my instructor about when i was in my class. You have the ability to protect other's from harm but you are not legally obligated to like, say, a law enforcement officer would be in that situation. Personally i couldnt live with myself if i just hid behind a cheeto's rack while a robber shoots the store clerk in the head. However, in the situation the OP described i would not intervene unless it happened right in front of me. Think logically, your a block or two away by time you get there you dont know who fired at who and who was the aggressor. Better yet, when the cops DO show up and your standing there with you gun in your hand who do you think their going to shoot first?

CL ad says 2500 but you should still edit your original post with a price.

What is the background on your screenname...
HotCarl replied to Clifford Automotive's topic in Dumpster
HOTCARL, yes its a sex move but thats not why i chose it. Its actually an inside joke between me and a friend. We were talking to this stripper (first mistake) she told us her name and asked ours, my buddy whitey gave some bogus name and I said "hi, my names carl. But everyone calls me HotCarl" so for the rest of the night this stripper was calling me HotCarl. It was pretty damn funny. -
Damn thats tempting. How many rounds do the magazine's hold? 17, or is this the 19+1 larger capacity?

Zordon is that you? I havent been to Skate Zone 71 (use to be USA SKATES I think) since i was a kid. Even then the lazer tag was pretty shitty. I think Magic Mtn was better.

Ive seen my parents both go through this in the last few years and really all you can do is be the strong silent type. Thats the way I am with my GF when she goes through hard times. I get a strange sense of satisfaction knowing she depends on me to be a dependable person in her life. Im sure the same goes for a husband and wife relationship too.

I would but we a few adult league hockey teams i know are running a tourny for breat cancer called "hockey beats down breast cancer" that weekend. We had the inagural game last year and it was a huge success despite being thrown together in 3 weeks, this time there was so much interest the one game turned into a tournement with 8 teams. $75 per person so we should make a sizeable donation all while having fun for a good cause. Im pretty pumped for it.

Am i the only one who would HATE to see that rematch again? Its like seeing the yankee's in the world series every year (and im a yankee's fan). Im not really rooting for any team but i would like to see Vancouver win, San Jose and Canadien's win aswell. Though San Jose does always choke i think just escaping the first round will be a huge boost for them. Kind of like getting over the hump and "breaking the curse". If im not mistaken they've been bounced out of the first round the last 3 seasons despite being either 1 or 2 seed.

quoted for the truth. General rule is however much you spend on the car your going to spend the same amount on just maintenance after you buy it.
-
I was going to say DSM too, regardless of how smart you are on maintenance its just not a good idea to daily drive a modded car. Inevitably things will go wrong and break and make the car that much more unreliable regardless of what kind of car it is. If you want to save money sell your cobra and buy a DD honda of some sort and keep it stock while saving for a 'toy'.
-
If you come from nothing and have no idea how to manage finance's (not talking about investing, simply managing what you do have) its really easy. You get the mindset of "i have so much effing money i can afford it" until one day you have 18 mansions and everyone one of your hummer's has a hot tub in the back of it and you owe the IRS a few million.
-
HELL NO! my money says he's broke and bankrupt in less than 10 years. Something crazy like 85% of all lottery winners claim bankruptcy less than 5 years after winning.
-
Im not really following what your trying to say. People use to talk about Gretzky and Lemieux when they played and were presently relevant to the game (their still relevant just not as active players), obviously they dont play anymore so their not going to be talked about. Thats like saying "NBA sucks b/c they never talk about Jordan or hakeem olajuwon anymore its always Kobe and Lebron". As for Nash, he's still an elite player in the prime of his career there's just no story line there for the papers and reporters to pick on. But you are right about one thing, I hate the way NHL markets its product. Sean Avery may be a total jackass but he had it right when he said "im just trying to stir the pot", thats exactly what the sport needs less guys reading from an approved script in interviews and more saying exactly what they mean. I mean jesus he called Elisha Cuthbert his "sloppy seconds", fucking awesome.

some jackoff from Jefferson City Montana won the $258 million dollar jackpot. Normally i wouldnt really care until i read this article about him http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100423/ap_on_re_us/us_powerball_winner_missouri He's talking about paying off utility bills with 258 million fucking dollars?! Not to mention the priceless quote, "Chris Shaw, 29, said he plans to use the winnings to pay off the $1,000 he owes a friend for a truck he recently bought, catch up on his utility bills, see a dentist about getting his two missing front teeth replaced, and take his three children and his girlfriend's two children to Walt Disney World in Florida." A dream come true for a redneck.
-
Honestly i fucking hate the "crosby vs ovechkin" line as much as anything else in sports. Sure its a story line that gets attention but its way outplayed and when/if they play each other in the next round im sure thats all we'll here. There are SOOOO many good talented player's in the league that deserve that spotlight just as much as those two do. As for MLB playoffs, i'll watch the postseason sometimes but never the regular season, its just not that interesting.

Oh and im not defending Ben Roethlesburger in any way, i think he's a piece of shit and would renounce my fandom if he was on my team. Winning forgives alot in pro sports but theres a question of charector with that guy that i just dont like.
-
Its not what you know its what you can prove. The prosecutor couldnt prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Roethlesburger (sp?) actually sexually abused that girl. Basically he's getting a 6 game suspension for putting himself in a bad and questionable situation. Vick on the other hand was looking at the possability of a RICO case against him he was lucky the prosecutor didnt argue it was technically organized crime but he still did 1 year in jail (if i remember correctly) and missed 2 NFL seasons because of his actions so adding on more suspensions wouldve been a moot point. Vick went from the highest paid NFL athelete to bankrupcty court.

Read on Puckdaddy the comparison's vs NHL and NBA playoff's and how their fans follow each, which is more entertaining etc... all that bs. Without a doubt, NHL playoff's trump NBA's playoffs any day, first round all the way through to the championship. NBA playoff's the home team wins 80% of the time, NHL its exciting to watch an 8 seed underdog take down a perrennial powerhouse (see Coyotes vs Detroit or L.A. vs Vancouver or Colorado (I still hate you adam foote) vs. San Jose), its exciting! Honestly the only newsworthy quote i saw from the NBA was that Lebron DIDNT put up 40pts on Chicago in the first game... WTF?! oh and there was that Boston Celtics "fight" that was actually kinda cool. What are you watching? http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/puck_daddy/post/Making-case-for-Stanley-Cup-playoffs-trumping-NB?urn=nhl,235371#remaining-content
