You should probally think about replacing the pipes with PVC, Those old metal ones were soldered at the joints, and judging from the color of the leak, the pipes are a little rusty. Just resoldering may be an option, buy again theres the rust issue. Not to sure how rust and solder get along. I'm no plummer, but hope this was at least some help.

every c/v boot i've done almost always has some discoloration. as long as it's not making any noise, and is not loose, i'd just replace the boot. I know that on some mopars, cough ** (biggest piles of shit ever) ** cough if the motor mounts are not lined up properly the drive shaft angle will not be correct, and it can cause some strange problems, like torn boots, and odd noises, so on and so fourth.

I absoultely love my shadow, it's very comfortable, and as far as reliability, it's got over 30000 miles and is an 1989, and EVERYTING works like new. It's the 1100 model, so it easily crusies down the freeway, and is Kinda quick. It's by no means fast though. it handles good, and gets decent mileage. I would not hesitate to ride it anywhere, as long as it's not gonna be too cold. Nuts go numb after a while. If you want something with a crusier look, and ride quality, but with sport bike speed, you might want to check into the Yamaha VMAX. they're supposed to go like 10.5 in the quarter, and there are a LOT of upgrades available. I'll most likely be looking into one in the spring.

fork seals are usually a pretty staight foreward repair. If you're really carefull with a pick, you can remove the old, and install the new without taking the fork all the way apart.

The seahawks have had a pretty easy season comparitivly, I don't think the game will truely be decided until the 3rd quarter, but I do belive that the AMAZING STEELERS will overcome and win. They won their playoffs on the road, and were rated at 6th place, NEVER in the history of football has that happened before. They did not go to detroit to lose. Period.

I started out on a 1980 yamaha xs400, with 270 pound rider it was almost dangerous to go out on the highway, simply because it was so fucking slow... then I got a 1987CBR 1000 Hurricane, It decided to take a shit, and was needing some serious repair, so I sold it for a financial loss, but saved some serious headachs, and got a 1989 honda shadow vt1100 crusier bike, I LOVE it. Plenty of power, rides great, and as you'd expect form honda, VERY reliable. When I get some money I'd like to get a Yahama VMAX. It's a crusier, but has the power of a crotch rocket, So I'd be comfortable riding it, and be able to go about as fast as I'd ever need to.

Unfortunately, theives, vandals, ect... Rarely get what they deserve. Unless you happen to catch them in act and are holding a baseball bat.... I fucking hate theives, worthless low life pieces of shit. Damn it, now I'm getting pissed and it's not even my fucking car!!!
