  1. What is so important after practically knowing nobody to HAVE to private message before 50 posts or a month of membership? You know you can TALK on eachothers profile page or you can actually talk to eachother on the forum. Hell trade phone #'s if you want. I don't see why any newbie needs to private message anyone. They don't know anybody! :dunno:

ahhhh pure genius everyone always bashes but nobody ever asks, “why the hell do you need to send all of these private messages?”

  2. thats a realist perspective, and i can respect that. the mighty will do what they will and the weak suffer what they must kinda thing.

who exactly is "them"? arabs? terrorists? muslims? anyone who is not the USA? i would guess it could be any of those things.

IMO its really hard to win a war against an intangible. you can wage war against a state and you can wage war against al qaeda. in both cases you have a clearly defined enemy. however i dont think anyone will win a war against "terror". i just dont see a day where its "ok thats the last of em. we killed all the terrorists. good job boys!". that day is never going to come.

gsxrnurse won the war against my "fun"

  3. I guess the first thing here is weather the captured soldier has information worth knowing. If there is a real target worth capturing they send in the big boys and what they do behind closed doors never makes it to the media. We have some really really smart people in this country and there are much better ways to get info out of people.

In Korea they would grab captured enemy and take a couple up in the helicopter. They would toss the first one out and then the second would tell them everything they wanted to know and then toss his ass out next.

So no, they should not use waterboarding because the people they use it on dont have any good info to tell anyways.

  4. They don't match their online prices in the store.

Right on their website it says: "*Our retail store prices may be generally 5%-10% higher than our website prices and if your REALLY need something then it will be even more expensive"

    sounds messed up to me

  5. the guy is getting a personal loan through citi bank and they told him there would be a hold on the check since i would be cashing it at national city. i think he should be able to just cash the loan check instantly and put a wad of cash in my hand.

holy hell guys, just cash the check at a citi bank

  6. I'm pretty sure there is no flow rating for air compressors. You could calculate it yourself if you know the velocity:

    0.25 x 3.14 x (hose diameter)^2 x velocity

Anyways, I wouldn't recommend buying a harbor freight air compressor. Get a small Craftsman. It'll do you just fine.

it will usually have cfm @ psi

and different air tools will have a rating too so you can compare

  7. o yeah duh! lol yeah i did find it yesterday it was at autozone...lil bent bent works perfectly fine!

congrats, you need to tie your key to your wrist so you dont lose it again:) Since I am a nice guy I will hold on to a copy for you incase you lose a key again

  8. Typically the "gallons" they reference is the volume of the compressed air tank.

If you just want to run an impact, and fill tires, you're probably fine with the lil compressor.

Some of the larger volume tools (air sander, paint gun...etc) you would want more capacity.

I have a 8 gal craftsman, and if I'm trying to paint i have issues with the compressor keeping up with the volume of air i'm shooting.

good post. 2 stage compressors are best for lots of volume ie sandblasting for impact wreches and even running an air nailer that small one should be fine
