  1. This is closest to what we typically do. We use MMs vs. Inches... Also, try and find a hard point on the frame's subframe or similar to measure to vs. the bodywork. Bodywork - especially track plastic - can move and change the measurement.

For the front, a zip tye works great to measure with.

OTT is a better choice for an example. Not sure what the whole L2, L3 thing is as lifting the bike with rider on board is a pretty sketchy proposition...

We use three people at the track. Rider, holder, and measurement guy. Two guys will be used to lift the bike (w/o rider) and get a measurement. Next, rider gets on, holder holds the bike in the upright position and measurement guy, well... Measures!

Easy as pie. I think I did a write-up, but will have to look for it...

I think they are trying to measure stiction. The settling point of the suspension from extended to resting and compressed to resting is usually different.

  2. you know, costa rica is a hot spot for sex tourism. lots of 15 year old prostitutes.

    have fun you pervert.

You know my last international vacation was to thailand

I think that's the first nice thing I've ever seen you post. Wow.

But I agree, she does deserve a vacation. She works too much.

I am nice all the time, I just dont post about it.

Don't bring back any swine flu!

I am giving out hugs as presents as soon as I get back

  3. Are you bringing the wifey?

Unfortunately with her new job she cant get any time off, so not this time. I hope we can get somewhere later this year or next she deserves a vacation

  4. This is just a retarded way of thinking, and race doesn't qualify as "breeds" of humans? Last time I checked it did, we just call it something different.

Breed = different color, size, character traits

    Race = ?

    See what I'm getting at?

With that said, black people have a gross over-representation in crime stats (and sucking at life in general). I'd like to kill all blacks

I just looked into my crystal ball and .... I dont see this discussion going very well

  5. Right over their heads.

and each and every month my retirement compensation (23.81%) goes into foreign stocks. If a chineese based company is going to take over the world that is fine by me as long as I get my dividend check.

I think that Warren Buffet guy believes in BYD, since he just recently bought 10% of the company. I cant wait till the day I can afford some berkshire hathaway stock

  6. Did anybody here go to the autoshow in detriot?

    Quick summary

Ford is going to revolutionize the automobile industry by using smaller displacement engines with turbochargers and direct injection.

GM has there "electric concept" vehicle with estimated specs that are no where close to the specs of the Tessla vehicle sitting just a couple feet away.

Nissan rented a decent sized space and left it completely empty, they didnt bother to even have a dealer bring a couple of cars from inventory to sit there.

Then there was a true sign of things to come, a wakeup call if you will. Some car brand that I never heard of, BYD next to the empty nissan area. I hear someone make a comment about the engine layout and out of no where like a ninja, a really smart asian guy takes the time to explain the reason behind the design.

So BYD actually took the effort to send engineers half way around the world to see what the american public thought about their cars. While GM, Ford and Chrystler got a bunch of skanky looking broads to stand next to theirs. American manufactures have a piss poor busness model and have completely 100% lost touch with their customer base.

  7. In Coshocton they have to install them with rocks and sticks. They aren't ready for hand tools' date=' yet.[/quote']

As soon as they evolve a bit and get opposable thumbs they can start using tools

  8. The 15W Motul and Repsol I was referring to was not the Rotella that I think you are referring to. I wouldn't use 15W in a 750 or 600, either... We used to run 0W when we sprint raced the 600s, but now, I think most guys are running )-5W in the smaller bikes... It's just the big liter bikes really beat the oil up and most if not all 1000 racers are using 15W... Some 10W...

I always hear about guys running the shell Rotella but I was talking about the Mobile1 15w-50. I was trying to make the point that there are additives in the car oils that dont work well with a wet clutch, I also wanted to point out that some oils marketed for diesel engine dont have these additives. I am sure you know the advantages of different viscosity oils.
