  1. How about a little 347 with some spray. And its a stick car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. +1 for Mike and his Lightning knowledge.
  3. My guess is that you find the problem in the tank.
  4. From Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords It was time to take the truck to the next level, and the only way we could do that was with a larger fuel system. Unlike other '99-up modular-powered Ford vehicles, the Lightning utilizes a return-style fuel system. That means the rails are fed fuel, and the injectors use only what they need with the unused gasoline returning to the fuel tank. The fuel rails have constant pressure due to a fuel-pressure regulator, which restricts the fuel flow from returning back to the tank. The fuel rails are pressurized to 39 psi in stock trim, and-more importantly-most fuel injectors are rated at that pressure. One trick to get more gasoline to the injectors is to raise the fuel pressure. A 60-pound injector's pressure increases when the fuel-rail pressure is greater than 39. Usually under boost, the fuel pressure jumps 1 psi per 1 psi of manifold boost.
  5. Lets just say there is not need for the passenger seat on the back of bike anymore.
  6. I will be there. Just found out that I am flying solo now.
  7. He is loosing fuel pressure any time there is a demand for volume. It is like the supply line has a kink it or some other type of restriction. The fuel pump will build pressure as long as the injectors are not firing.
  8. Negative Ghost Rider I can only imagine how much crap is hitting E-Bay

  10. There is a reason why slicks are not legal for public roads.
  11. I am inviting you to come out to the NMRA with me when it comes to Columbus.
  12. Not yet. Hopefully he will call soon. If you gave him a referral to me I most certainly appreciate it.
  13. Thank you sir. The tuner claims that is their specialty. Can you say 28 degrees of timing pasted throughout the whole High Octane Table? Not to mention the jagged IFR table and P/E. LOL
  14. I will get in contact with the customer and ask him he would be willing to join CR and talk about the shop in question. I am thinking he will being that he thanked me again and again with the time and effort that I put into his car. Even though the shop is not a member of the forum. I am going to play it safe and not mention their name. Just trying to prevent any flaming coming into my thread. (I am flamed out. All I want to do is make a living, have fun doing what I like, and make customers happy just like the rest of the sponsors of this forum.) I guess let it be a lesson to those who are considering a dyno tune. If you pay $500.00, expect more then 3 pulls and 20 mins of work for it to be done right.
  15. I see you located in galloway. My shop is located next door the driving range on broad street just west of krogers. I am always looking for people to ride with.
  16. Let me know if you need some help setting it up. I have some experience with dry kits on 5 liters
  17. Graph is back up. Damn internet connection at home. Modem has been crashing once a day. Anythony, The customer claims he paid for a dyno tune which was $500.00 dollars. He did not to get to see his car on the dyno. All he could do is hear the car make 3 pulls. 20 minutes went by and he had his car back. The tuner claimed the hesitation was because of the size of the cam. I am not going to get into details of how the airflow and fuel tables were setup. Lets just say the tune was done "incorrect" (LMAO) It is just a real shame that this kind of crap goes on here. Oh!!! For the record, the competitor is not a sponsor of this forum!!!!!!!
  18. Do not get caught in the rain.. I ended up in the median in the turbo car coming home from trails during a HARD rain storm. I was only doing 35 mph.
  19. LOL The red graph is a run with the $500.00 tune that took 20 minutes and 3 pulls from a competitor.
  20. I know I got Skillz man I know I got skillz man!!!!
  21. I too have been hearing good things coming from your place. Had a guy come in today and said he had work done by you awhile back. Sorry but I can not remember his name. I have not posted may tunes lately because I have just been busy. I usually get online just long enough to answer customer e-mails and do my mail order tunes. I have several tunes I should be posting which include mustangs and lsx cars. I even have a couple imports to post as well. But for now I am off to bed. I have a turbo mustang coming in from out of state for a tune at 8:00. Thanks again Rob and Scott for the support.
