  8. Started with my first tune at 9:00 am from Madison Wisconsin. Just walked in the door at 11:00 pm. I have car in transit from Illinois coming in for some E85 fun. If you are a night owl then you are welcome to come hang out. Car is a 2002 Monte Carlo with a number of upgrades. Sorry Gearhead for missing your call. Will give you a call when I wake up on thrusday.
  9. Derek, The air prop brake on my dyno can be used for part throttle tuning. You can watch the wideband live. Give me a call sometime about it.
  10. hi my name is jeremy reichhoff. i have an 2004 svt cobra you tuned last fall in madison, wi. first off i just wanted to say thanks for a great job tuning my car. i think you guys are very professional and great at what you do. you made some great numbers with my car and more importantly you did it safely!!! i just have some questions... if you remember my car made 638rwhp and 559tq(uncorrected). i would like a "race" tune set up on my car.... more boost, and more octane. but i know my current fuel system will not support this. all i have right now is a kenne bell bap, and 60# inj. as far as my fuel delivery. what would you suggest i do to build up my fuel system?!?!??!? i know lots of guys are going to twin gt pumps, fore fuel hat, dual or modified fpdm's. as well as bigger lines. but for the price that would all be would it be smarter to just go with a return fuel system? also have you done any tuning with the behemoth inlets? i am thinking some day maybe going this route! i would love a tune set up for race gas and 22-24 psi.... with the proper fuel set up how much hp do you think my car could put out? i have just about every bolt on modification on my car as far as increasing hp and tq. would once like to thank you for your excellent tune and advice. -jeremy Getting ready to send him a reply to his e-mail.

  14. Thorne, I believe your maf is used in draw through? It takes a little more effort when blowing through the maf. I believe we did have about 1 degree of knock on that pass for the blower car. Total timing was between 13-14 degrees. You are right about that most of power came from leaning the car out and playing with timing. First, commanded A/F was changed and then I dialed in the maf. You can hold the 98 and new 3800's in gear using the scanner. However you can not lock the TC. Both cars had 3000 rpm TC.
  15. The blower car maf tune was nailed in two pulls. The turbo car took a few extra pulls because you are blowing through the maf. The maf tends to get noisy when you push air through them. Thorne, Not really worried about the torque number on the dyno with an automatic tranny and big TC. We were more concerned getting the maf dialed in to get the commanded A/F to match the Wideband. I can do that. As of right now Friday is going to be the first free evening. I have been getting to the dyno around 10am and running to about 10 to 11 pm every night. I am very thankful for both the business and opportunity. Rob, PM me details of the car. I believe you told me he already has a chip?

  20. I have been wanting to get out and ride. The dyno has been so busy. I feel like I can not take time for some fun. Today alone was a 14 hr day. I must say I am thankful considering the number of people who are out of work these days. I hope those looking for work will find it soon.
