  1. For two things. 1. To those that came out to the dyno day. We had 18 cars hit the rollers. One of the best turn outs for a CR dyno day. And here it was on a Sunday.. 2. To those who continue to support and believe in what I am doing as a tuner for your Ford and GM needs.. If it was not for you I would not still be here. There are alot of dyno and tuning options in Columbus. I am very grateful for those who continue to use me for a tuning solution. I will still give it my 100% to keep earning your business. And more importantly... Your friendship.
  2. Thank you Jim for coming down to Columbus for a Tune. I am glad you are happy and appreciate the effort I put into my tuning. So many people think that a power commander and a generic map is all one needs to get their bike dialed in. A custom tune brings everything together.
  3. Busier then a dog with two dicks everyday. Been going in around 10am. Taking a break from 5-7 and then back at till about midnight. Both dyno's still spinning.
  4. As of right now this is the plan. Figure on a start time of noon.
  5. Fuck a Sammich. Make it a STEAK!!!!!
  6. Waiting for Genfly to wish JB a special happy BDAY!!!
  7. I typically change oil in this car every 500 miles. Not sure if that apply as short term or long term use. I have way too much money in the motor to let oil get dirty in it.
  8. Thanks for the info.. I would really like to talk to someone as well about it. I am using valvoline full synthetic right now and it is breaking down causing the car to burn oil after about 100 miles. The piston rings are set up loose for boost and the E85 tends to dilute oil much faster. I am told their are better oils out their that will not lose their film strength as fast. I am only seeing oil consuption once engine temps are around 190 degrees.
  9. Interested in testing this oil... http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/rd30.aspx In need of something where the oil will not break down as fast as a result of using E85.
  10. I am thinking of locking this down for the 16th... If there are no other objections then we will call it the 16th
  11. Tune for pump gas and be done. Assuming your motor is stock you are not going to see any benefit to race fuel unless you plan on running oxygenated fuel. TOO HIGH OF OCTANE WILL CAUSE YOU TO LOSE POWER IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE COMPRESSION OR IGNITION ADVANCE TO RUN IT These tiny little miracles of engines make super good power on pump gas. If you think that higher octane fuel is going to benefit your application, (Again I assume your engine is stock. Not concerned with modifications outside the engine) I would suggest doing your homework on how octane impacts a engine. The higher the octane the slower the burn. The engineers designed these motors to run on the gas that comes out of our pumps. No sense in trying to "fix" something that is not broken. Spend less time worrying about race gas and spend more time worry about the tune being correct in the bike. Getting the correct A/F ratios is WAYYYYY more important then throwing money away on race gas for an engine that was not built to run on race gas. Done with my rant.
  12. Someone needs to put the compression through the roof on a sport bike and let me tune it on Corn "E85".
  13. Mobiledyno@aol.com 614-778-8984 Feel free to give me call during the day or shoot me an e-mail. If I do not answer leave me a message and I will call you back.
  14. If you are need of tuning a GM OBD1 ECM. - I need the part number off the ecm - EX. 1227747 - I need the PCM Calibration Code - EX. ANLW Email me at mobiledyno@aol.com for more information.
  15. Next time I see you I am going to give you a big hug. :lolguy: At least hug your leg since that is the only thing I will be able to reach.
  16. Would give you +rep if I knew how. LOL
  17. Believe me I am trying. After 12 years I am not perfect at it and I know I never will be. But I continue to try to help those customers who are "willing" to work with me to get them taken care of.

    DTM Update

Figured another one of these was long overdue. Not sure where to start. I can tell you that business is still growing. Both with new customers and with old. In 2010 and 2011 I saw an approximate 20% growth in business. Comparing the end of July in 2011 and the end of July in 2012 I am on track to do 50% more business for this year. 50% increase in business?????? The motorcycle dyno has played a small part in this. The bike dyno has already generated 160% more in business this year then all of 2011. This is due to the increased Harley Davidson tuning that I have received from several local dealerships. However doing the math. The bike dyno is only responsible for about 11% of the 50% increase for 2012. The rest of increase has come from the car dyno and small increase in mail order business for both GM and Ford. So if you are so busy Brian. Where are all the dyno graph graphs and videos? Good question. I really do not have an excuse other then that I am super busy. LSX tuning is booming for me along with a nice increase in the newer mustangs (5 liters and GT500's). I have also had a number of requests for "other" tuning needs that is working out as well. I never thought DTM could survive on tuning alone. I thought for sure I would need labor to keep the doors open and continue growth. Fortunately I have a handful of garages to refer customers for install work and other businesses for part sales. This in turn generated tuning business. For the longest time I kept saying I am going to try and expand in these areas. After giving this much thought I am going to keep doing what I am doing. I have had my ups and downs like any other business. However, I manage to keep pushing through them. I know I can not make everyone happy. For those people I am sorry. However the list of happy customers giving me referrals continues to grow. So I am going to keep doing what I am doing in my little hole in the wall shop. On a side note.. I prefer to use e-mail, texting, or phone calls when trying to get a hold of me. It is much easier to respond to a e-mail from my phone then it is trying to get on the forum to respond to private messages. Just because I am not on here posting graphs does not mean I am not busy. I feel very fortunate and blessed that I am in a position that I do not need to post every tune on a internet forum to generate more business. I am hoping to see some old friends at the September dyno day and continue to make new friends. Take care CR members.
  19. What day do we want to do this? I am thinking the 16th or 23rd or September.
  20. Pretty sure my sealed box gets busy at 17 hz.
