  1. Knowing your A/F ratios at various rpm's and throttle positions will tell us if you have room to improve. When tuning I shoot for the following target A/F's 13.0 60%-100% TPS 13.5 40%-50% TPS 13.9 20%-30% TPS 14.2 0%-10% TPS
  2. So what was the asking price of the 2011's?
  3. This............ Not only do they make more torque. They make it over a much broader RPM range. Wish I knew where to find a dyno graph of a TL on the computer and overlay it with one of a gsxr 1000 of the same year. The comparision just might surprise you.
  4. My biggest fear is the cost of fuel and the costs to maintain truck/trailer. Tires are not cheap nor are oil changes. This is why I do not take the car dyno on the road any more. Good luck Josh. Keep me updated on how it goes.
  5. My guess it is only a matter of time before she chimes in.
  6. The car dyno is 35+ feet long and a bumper pull. (Class V Hitch) Dyno weighs in at over 13,000 pounds. Pulls like a dream. However I am using a Diesel to pull this much weight. I agree with Hoblick that he should just hook on to trailer and go pull it with his truck. (Trailer loaded of course). My guess is if you get a lot of use out the trailer you will eventually go Diesel. LOW RPM Horsepower (torque) makes all the difference in pulling a heavy trailer. A gas motor truck making 300 wheel at 5000 rpm's is not going to pull near as well as a truck making 200 wheel at 1800 rpm's. Now it would be interesting to do a small turbo on a gas V8. Keep the boost around 8 pounds to be pump gas friendly and you should be able to tow a decent amount of weight with 500 to 600 ft lbs of torque. I forgot to mention the best part of my truck. The exhaust brake does wonders in keeping the truck from running away from the brakes while coming down the mountains. Use the truck you have for now Hoblick. Upgrade to diesel down the road if need be.
  7. Still not as cool as Ringo kicking it sideways at 140 mph.
  8. The truck is worth more in wood then it is in truck. I want the enclosures for my shop. LOL
  9. I know of a few people here without power still.
  10. Some what off topic. How did the bike respond to the change in elevation? Awesome vids.
  11. Another option is to cruise up to 161 tonight. A car show away from the car show. Taking black betty out for ride to see what pot of fun we can stir up.
  12. Take pictures. I saw enough cars this week in my shop getting ready for Good Guys to last me a lifetime.
  13. In search of snow to cool my ass off. Looking forward to a cool 82 degrees next Tuesday.
  14. I heard Sam Busa's son was available for painting.
  15. 1999-2000 model. If you have one please shoot me an e-mail at mobiledyno@aol.com. I will pass your info onto the owner of the bike.
  16. OR might be the last place to look for such advice...
  17. Charter Street and Westbelt were cool back in the day when you could sit out in a chair or a tailgate of a truck and watch racing all night. Even though I would like to see it again I have to agree with Swing'R. People in that area did not move into area to listen to cars and bikes race all night long. There are plenty of drag strips and other industrial areas that people can race without disturbing those in need of rest. Like I said I would love to spend an all nighter out at westbelt or charter street watching trailered cars and bikes street racing. However not at the expense of the neighboring houses and their owners.
  18. 373 rwhp on a stock motor - 15 psi on corn. Bike is ridden daily.. Tuned by me.
  19. Every day I hear of fatal bike accident. Sometimes it makes me wonder if it is worth riding on public roads. Cars and bikes do not mix.
  20. That's the problem with owning a turbo or nitrous car. Once you go with more boost or bigger jets you never want to take a step backwards.
  21. Will take the distributor. How do you want paid?
  22. You can always turn the boost down. No said you had to keep at 600+ wheel.
  23. LS1's are very popular swap for the FD's :lolguy: Just saying my friend.
