Got to give Ringo credit. He is doing one hell of a job getting underneath a number of people's skin here. I am sure every time he logs in to to read this thread it is with a smile.

I don't want to run the guy into the ground but I am wondering if Ringo even has insurance or a motorcycle endorsement on his license. If he does not it is really going to get expensive when it comes time to paying traffic fines. I am not saying I always abide by the law when driving or riding. However I make sure I am legal with the proper endorsements and insurance should something ever happen.

Why are we using "code" here? And as far as CPD not being able to do anything based on a forum post you should try asking what happened to a bunch of guys over on Columbusracing on 71 a couple years back. The police do watch the forums and use it to their advantage. I have already been to one funeral this year for a bike accident. I hope it is my only one.
  4. Extreme lean or rich conditions can cause this sudden off/on power you are talking about. A quick cruise on the dyno with the wideband will let us know if the A/F is causing any issues.
  5. You are putting too much focus on max power gains. What is more important is the power gains through the entire rpm range and throttle positions. Places that charge $100.00 for a map are only doing wide open throttle and a lot of times it is a half ass attempt in gettting the air/fuel correctly. The only way to see the true gains of a tune is to do a baseline run to see what the A/F is like. From there I can tell you what there is for you to benefit from a tune. HP numbers are not everything. Unless you drive a supra.
  6. A custom tune is much better then any canned map from Dyno Jet. I have seen time and time again where a stock map is better then a map from Dyno Jet.
  7. Williamstown, WV Owner did a google search for bike dynos in Ohio and found several threads on this forum about me.
  8. I have had several people tell me they were going to bring me a bike with tuneboy. I have looked at the software and looks very simple and easy to use. Hopefully I will get to do one this year. Yes and No. The map that was in the bike was a joke. A/F was super rich under part throttle and lean lean lean under WOT. I did not make a WOT pull until several runs into the tuning until I got the A/F around 13.0. Keep in mind this bike is drive by wire. The bike does not see WOT until 8000 rpm's. If you notice in the graph the A/F gets smooth around half way into the run. A/F is 13.0 and ends up at 12.9 at the end of the run. Once I was done with 100% throttle I did the rest of the throttle position range. 60% to 100% = 13.0 A/F Target 40% = 13.5 A/F Target 20% = 13.9 A/F Target 15% = 14.0 A/F Target 0% to 10% = 14.4 to 14.6 A/F Target
  9. Figured I better get on here and let everyone know I am alive and kicking. So far in 2011 I have had record months this year. Even though I am not doing any service I am busy as ever with tuning. Business is better then I could ever have hoped for and I am very thankful for the opportunity. Here are couple tunes from this month. 2006 Mustang GT with P1SC Supercharger DSS Long Block - Long Tubes - Ford Racing Exhaust http://204.210.241.52:50001/Dyno%20Graphs%20and%20Pictures./Customer%20Cars/2011/2006%20Mustang%20GT%20-%20Jeremy%20Titus.JPG http://204.210.241.52:50001/Dyno%20Graphs%20and%20Pictures./Dyno%20Graphs/2006%20Mustang%20GT%20-%20Jeremy%20Titus.jpg 2011 Camaro LS3 M6 Magnacharger - Long Tubes - Rotofab - Aftermarket Catback http://204.210.241.52:50001/Dyno%20Graphs%20and%20Pictures./Customer%20Cars/2011/2011%20Camaro%20-%20Paul%20Hayden%202%20.JPG http://204.210.241.52:50001/Dyno%20Graphs%20and%20Pictures./Dyno%20Graphs/2011%20Camaro%20LS3%20-%20Paul%20Hayden.jpg 2011 BMW S1000RR Akrapovic Exhaust and Power Commander V http://204.210.241.52:50001/Dyno%20Graphs%20and%20Pictures./Customer%20Cars/2011/BMW%20-%201000%20-%20001.jpg http://204.210.241.52:50001/Dyno%20Graphs%20and%20Pictures./Motorcycle%20Dyno%20Graphs/2011%20BMW%201000%20R.jpg
