It has been brought to my attention that a few of you had sticker shock when looking at my pricing to tune automobiles. Although I am not the cheapest I can tell you I am far from the most expensive. Depending on the type of vehicle and what is need you can expect to pay anywhere from $400.00 to $600.00 for a custom tune for a car/truck. Pricing depends on the level of modifications to the vehicle and what hardware/licensing is needed to do the tune. I have seen tunes go for as much as $1,000.00 for highly modified vehicles with are in need of extremely custom work on the dyno. A good automotive tuner can tune bikes. This does not mean a good bike tuner can tune automobiles. I have been told time and time again by people who are car tuning smart that I am way to cheap on my bike tunes. I my reply is I have about 1/10th the cost in equipment needed to tune a bike versus a car. The other reason is amount of skill that is need to tune car versus a bike. So instead of charging $400.00 to $600.00 for a bike tune I am keeping the tuning rates at $200.00 for PC's and Bazzaz. For that $200.00 you get a custom map taylored to your motorcycle for all RPM and throttle positions where other places will just tune the bike at WOT and send you out with a dyno sheet. If someone else is charging $100.00 to $150.00 to tune a bike chances are they are not giving you the same quality map that I am. I give every $200.00 bike tune the same effort and quality work as a $500.00 car tune. If you feel the need to go down the street because someone is doing it for $50.00 to $100.00 less then I encourage you to do so. I have plenty of automotive tunes and those with bikes who know what kind of job I do with custom maps. Please remember you get what you pay for. :D:D

For those that are offering to go are you sure your jobs and families will not be an issue? If this comes through I need to be able to depend on those who say they are able to go. I have a feeling I am going to have more people to choose from then I know what to do with.

If I understand it correctly this will the only car on the dyno. Sounds a little crazy to me but I think I will be game for whatever. Basically I am looking to take 1 to 2 people with me who will be willing to stay the entire time. All meals and hotel will be provided. A generous compensation as well. I am trying to get details on what exactly they are looking for. Sounds like all I need to do is run this super car over and over on the dyno for the entire time.. I am preparing a quote as we speak. Like I said I am in the negotiating stages right now. This is not something I need to do. I have tunes scheduled 3 weeks out and have more business then I know what to do with. If I go I can promise it will be worth my while and who ever I take. That is what I am thinking Running good. Got her out today to stretch her legs a bit. Been sitting all winter.

Looks like the weather is going to hold out for saturday.

If I ever get some free time I will post in detail why I can improve mileage on these LSX powered cars and trucks. I will give you all a hint... "Torque Management"

That is the discounted rate. Regular LS1 rates are going up. I can tune AWD vehicles on the street.

$100.00 for just canned tuned. $300.00 to tune for fuel mileage only on the street. $400.00 for fuel mileage and power on the dyno.

You need to talk to me. I do tunes for 5.3 and 6.0 fleet vehicles for a company out of state.

My plate is so full with work that I forgot about the details to this. As far as a startup time I am thinking somewhere between 10:00 and 11:00. I have a race car coming in at 8:30 am to get some pulls before the dyno day. Car is going to be a bit of handful for it can make up to 3300hp at the crank with the boost turned up. Once the car is done I will start with the bikes. I am shooting for no later then 11:00 am startup for OR

When ever you want Matt. You contacted last year about it but you never made an appointment. It is good for an hour dyno time with boost and a/f. Sometime after the 18th would be good for my calendar.

Was at the dyno just after 10:00 am on saturday and locked the door to come home at 4:05 am on sunday. I get to head back in a few hours.

No sir. The mustang does not need forced induction to be fast. However, we do like being blown or sprayed.

I guess the same God that touched the LS1 motor must have touched the new 5.0.

Cars are making 414 to 420 rwhp stock. The mustang is back on track!!!!
