Well it looks like it will be in my possession around Christmas time when my Dad comes back. Ill be shooting it FYI.. Probably wont take it Rabbit hunting in thick briars or anything but would definitely use it for field rabbit / bird. I have another one I can use in thick brush without fear of beating up too bad.

Selling it for 1500-2200 isnt much especially for a nice shotgun so I would be inclined to use it as designed. Besides, the regular Maxus sells for 1600-1800 so other than the ducks unlimited engraving, there doesnt appear to be anything special about it. So Im leaning towards using it, depending on what she decides she wants to do with it since its hers. .

So heres the deal. My mother just won a Browning Maxus 3" chamber, Ducks Unlimited 75th anniversary limited edition at a raffle. Lucky her. I see them selling between $1600-$2200 So the question is, Use it, or keep it locked up in a safe. Personal opinion is that while its a beautiful piece, I would probably use it. Im not a fan of safe queens unless they are super, super rare. Any feedback. Pics.

Shot my buddies custom worked over 45 today suppressed with and without water in the can.. Man that thing is sweet. 100yard off hand hits were pretty damn easy. Makes me want one bad... New build barrel, BCG, gas key, and gas tube all came back from melonite today so now just waiting on the upper and handguard and can finally get everything assembled. giggity.

Just downloaded and upgraded my hero2, wifibackpack, and remote. App is nice and should be fun so you dont have to have the remote. Now the but, the only real benefit I see from the app as of now is being able to see what your recording and not having to purchase the remote and just use your phone. Although the video stream is definitley compressed and quality is nowhere near what the camera records. Reminds me of a gen 1 camera phone. This app/update was also supposed to allow you to stream live but i dont see that functionality anywhere. This weekend Ill check the range of the backpack hooked to the remote as well as to the Ipad as well as see how long the battery lasts for both. I have found that when the wifi backpack is connected, it tends to drain the camera much faster then when its not. Almost as if it pulls charge from the camera somewhat. Also, the new firmware update comes with the Protune functionality which was highly talked about.

I was fortunate enough to be in business class to India and South Africa. 100% lay flay seats/beds. Your own tv with 40-50 movies. built in gaming console with all the popular titles, good food, free drinks, etc. You board first, get your champagne/drink while everyone else is boarding, get a few more drinks, take off, eat dinner, (typically 3+ courses with multiple dinner options.) watch a movie or 2, fall asleep, every time you wake up, get another drink, eat a bit, watch some movie, and back to sleep. My SA flight seemed pretty damn short considering it was 16.5 hrs

For work Few hours south of Vienna Austria ( squeezed in Vienna, Prague, Bratislava, and Budapest on that trip) about 15 days Mumbai and Pune India via Frankfurt Germany .. about 15 days between Mumbai and Pune Furthest would probably be Johannesburg South Africa via a a direct 16.5hr flight out of Atlanta last year. (Deltas longest flight and the 4th longest flight in the world) While there for work, this is where I squeezed in a hunting trip about 4-5 hrs from Johannesburg near Botswana. About 19 days. I'd say that the service men and woman win though considering their "line of work"
