  1. I'll be 100% honest I've watched all of these shows since the beginning, not entirely sure why they hooked me so well but it happened. The explosion in popularity it's provided for drag racing and the performance industry is amazing, it's truly changing the face of the sport.

At PRI this year, not sure I saw 1 "professional driver" of the NHRA like you would see in the past, but damn near the entire cast of Street Outlaws was there with lines everywhere for signatures. .

And in the bars at night.

Some of those boys are a hoot :)

Its been similar to the effect FnF had on the Import industry IMO

  2. I like that the turbo is the same size as the engine.

Isn't that how it should be?! :)

Great progress. To free up space, have you thought about putting the radiator under the trunk floor or if that even would work?

It would work great with proper ducting. I have though about it but I have it set up nice with an Audi radiator now. Everything fits pretty well. Will update with pics.

If I need more cooling my plan is to hack up 2 Audi Aluminum ebay cores and make one tall Radiator.

  3. I see now. I went through this once, if the title's not in his name then it's not his bike to sell.

    Yes and no.

Some states allow multiple "sales" to be notated on the back of a title. There are NON NOTARY states though- so they fact he is saying its Notarized likely means hes currently fucked.

  4. If the back of the title looks like this- you **may** be able to toss you name on there and have Ohio issue you a title

If there is only ONE spot for assignment- he 100% has to take title.

Yes, you can take title FOR him, and assign TO YOU without him present. You need a very specific set of documents form the BMV all of which have to be notarized to do this. All this info brought to you by Coltboostin used car sales emporium. ;)

  5. I have learned in life if I cant control it, Im not going to spend any effort to worry about it. Its a very literal waste of time.

Knowing how large the universe is I think you would be naive to think we are the only intelligent life out there. Now since I cant talk to, know, or stop any other life from coming here- I givith no fucks about it.

  6. Have you checked into a Certified Pre Owned BMW 5 series with the M sport option?

Or this. Still the only car thats not an exotic that makes me do a triple take if I see it on the road.

But I dont lease, so I am no help here.

  7. 2018 Q50 3.0t awd $340 4k down

    2017 Q60 3.0t awd $390 4k down

    2018 Q60 3.0t awd $450 4k down

Though I bet you could get a solid deal on an off lease 2015/2016 aswell.

4k down on a lease tho?

Unless my company is paying for it-I'd have a hard time burning my money like that.

  8. I was looking to build a new house in a subdivision. Lot cost was $62K. The 21-2200SF house came in at nearly $330K. I think the "base price" was $240K just going off price/SF. If you can keep it under $250 without pouring concrete yourself let me know. Like Joe said above, the utility taps and site work are ridiculous....even moreso if you are 'out there'.

All those costs plus having to fund the construction loan just made anything like that not feasible at this time in my case.

10-15K to repair a basement wall, might just be petty if the rest of it is totally worth it.

But Out there is often septic or well, so it could be a lot less than a long run to city connects.

The cost to build is dictated most by market, and less by material cost. Like everything else- the more you can do yourself the more you save

To the OP I can tell you from experience with a few flips that I have seen long term repairs hold fine and not at all affect resale. This is with both finished and unfinished basements. If you short up the wall and fix the reason why it bowed-you should be good IMO

But to answer your question you should absolutely price that into your offer, and hit with a 5% depreciation of value on top.

  9. . That C6 sounded amazing.

I dont want to say Im a fanboy, but man, there is a LOT to like with these cars.

Cam-and your mid 10s NA? Dafuq

I hated my car on matte black wheels

    ]

I agree- takes it from B.A. to BLAH. I like the offset with the Chrome. Unless some wheel pop up for dirty cheap-I wont be buying wheels for it.

BTW is that a Zr1 wing?

  10. You’ll have zero issues pulling a 10 second run with 19” drag radials. I put a 345 nitto nt-05r on the stock 19” wheel and ran a 10.9 at 134, and admittedly, i was not the best at launching that car. The big cam is what makes these cars nearly unstoppable from 80-150mph.

That's good to know. Its been too cold since I picked it up to screw around much especially at low speed, but on the highway it does pull like it has a centrifugal blower on it. Its odd-the faster its going, the harder its pulling. The power band must look like the 45 deg angle of a carpenter's square :megusta:

  11. I'll clarify...I know where the emblems go, I just mean that anything else black on that car (from what I've seen) that isn't gloss black will look weird.

I think something small like emblems would be fine, but I would say that matt/flat black WHEELS would be a McSteak on that fine C6Z. If you're going to go with black wheels, I'd make them glossy to go with the large shiny expanses of black in the greenhouse and the back panel.

Ah that makes sense, and thinking about I agree! I def don't hate the chrome either. Even though there is no other Chrome- it seems to work on this car. Due to sizing it looks like there are no "cheap" wheel options either.
