    JP, I understand if you don't want to or can't divulge anything, but I'm a little confused. I thought you were the only car involved with your incident, and a lawsuit implies that some individual (or business entity) is being sued by another. ???

     

    This shit you destroy when you crash IE signs, guardrails, cones....ect, wether it is your fault, you die, its snowing, its the apocalypse, or not, evidently needs to be paid for. You slide a long way @ over 3x the speed limit, and my brakes did about 2% on of the stopping. :(

    Unfortunately, no.

    I am upset that it seems the Famed Jonny Bravo machine will never line up with The Colt, and now may never see the Top End Supra. I was at least hoping to see that race, but I think the Supra may be gone. I am sad.

     

    But, I think we may be able to arrange another race-and if the C-bus guy I am thinking of agrees, and looses, it will be a loss of mythic proportions. I will be bringing my “the sky is falling” poncho just in case.

     

    We’ll see what happens, and I am sorry about the disappointing news.

    In order of coolness, rareness, and all around performance. LSX FC's and FD's are like belly buttons now adays.

     

    I think he was implying that this Supra will be coming down to battle.

    Yes and no. You guys will be coming down - i.e., traveling south on - I-71 and getting off at the Gemini Place exit, which will then direct you to Polaris Parkway (and the initial meeting spot at QS&L).

     

    The place I referenced on the freeway being six wide actually happens as you are traveling north on I-71 up from the 270 and toward the Polaris Parkway (and Gemini Place) exit. So, yes, it's around where you'll be coming, but, in order to drive on it, we'd have to jump on 71, go south for a bit, then come back up 71 toward Polaris again to hit the area where it goes six wide.

     

    Also, there is a Hooters near the Polaris area, but it's not where we're meeting, and it's not where the big annual meet for all the car stuff goes down. That Hooters is out on the east side off of 270. (We have a few Hooters here; "the" Hooters that everyone talks about is out east - the Hooters @ Polaris is relatively new and not much car stuff goes on there.)

     

    I'll plan to post up in the next day or so a revised thread about the meet to discuss directions, anticipated participants, and so forth.

    Ok cool. I was talking with Doug (10.2's supra from Dayton) and he is trying to get up here for the 1st, and he will be bringing a freind with a 403 Vette+Novi. supposed to be 800+whp on pump gas. I told him Hooters @ polaris, because I was confused since we are going to QS&L @ Polaris. :/

     

    Looks like I need to make a phone call. What is the distance from QS&L to the Hooters were the NMRA meet is?

    i thought you were never going to post it for reasons of the law or something like that :rolleyes:

     

    The in car video and the fly by video are to separate things that don’t reference eachother.

     

    Besides, the fly by vid I have is from a separate night of racing anyways.

     

    And yes, I am currently involved in a lawsuit. The other lawyer is a complete ass-so I dont think he would ever think to search the web, but I am not chancing it.

     

    I will find the tape and have my boy post it.

     

     

    So can anyone confirm the method of measure for this claimed speed?

    Uh, looks like it still whipped up on the AWD car. What do you have that is worth bragging about? That crumpeled shell in your front yard on blocks doesn't count either.

     

    The word you were searching so desperately for was "lame."

    People will hate, no matter how many ways you document the event. If he had GPS, laser, radar, NORRAD, and baby Jesus confirming his speed, people would STILL question it.

    Now, before I say anything-how what his MPH logged? I just watched the fly by video, and it is fast, but looked far less impressive than one I can get on the net-and I believe I was only @ 185mph when I passed the camera-and the camera was farther away. Also, if you guys were crafty, you would know where a little clip of a top speed run of mine is. I will give you a clue-it is on streetfire.

    OK so after everything was said and done and wegot all of our bills from the hospital we totaled just over a cool million.

     

    which included wifes 2 month stay at OSU.

    birth/ C section

    boys stay at OSU NICU

    boys stay at Childerns NICU.

    and 2 major surgeys for Emerson.

  20. Jet ski's anyone?

    So we went out and got some new jet ski's.

     

    2 Aquatrax R-12's (1235 cc)

    and a Aquatrax R-12X (1235cc turbocharged)

     

    These are probably the most awesome Jet ski's anyone could own. We've been beating the hell out of them for about 2 days now.

     

    The R-12X is capable (and proven) 70 mph on a choppy lake.

     

    So if anyone is going to be getting jetski's this summer, I deffinately recommend these to everyone. I'd say it's hard to find anything that out accelerates the R-12X on the water, and they're 2 seater, so scare the hell out of your friends.

    Honesty the 12x is not as fast as you would expect. Although fatser than the standard big ski, Motorhead's supercharger skidoo runs fucking circles around it. I have ridden both, and had plenty of water drag action with each. I still have not been on anything that moves like the blown skidoo.

    I've never seen Chris Green actually give someone a chance to stay by concocting a poll; usually, he just up and axes the fuck out of you without so much as a word. :)

     

    I have heard of this guy. And from what I have heard, he was on the top 10 for people to chat in person with yesterday. It seems he has "asshole cop" syndrome, but it is common with Forum admin's, so its understandable.
