Has anyone bought one in the past few months? Where did you find that had the best prices/deals? Thanks.

It's kind of blueish purple, Honda calls it Pearl Blue. In the sunlight it is more blue than purple. It actually looks pretty good outside.

I have my '03 Honda Shadow VLX600DX up for sale. Thought I would post it here if anyone is looking for a great beginner bike or just a great bike for day to day rides. The bike was purchased new by me in '04 and I have put only 365 miles on it. I bought it to be a commuter bike and for the weekends but ended up having kids and not too much time to ride. It has sat in my garage, covered, since I bought it. I just had it tuned up in November (cleaning the carb, new plugs, change the oil, drain the old gas, and tweaked the carb a bit). I even had it detailed by a member of Columbus Racing. The only thing wrong with the bike is that the left Kuryakyn hand grip has a piece of the black plastic coming off. Other than that the bike is beautiful. It has never been wrecked or dropped. Bike will also come with a front tool bag, saddle bags and saddle bag guards, battery tender, magnetic green light trigger and original Honda bike tool. My asking price is $3500.00 or obo and no trades. I will entertain legitimate offers due to me wanting to sell the bike quickly. If you have any questions send me a pm. http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r95/gaewsky1/P1120043.jpg http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r95/gaewsky1/P1120044.jpg http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r95/gaewsky1/P1120045.jpg http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r95/gaewsky1/P1120046.jpg http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r95/gaewsky1/P1120047.jpg http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r95/gaewsky1/P1120048.jpg http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r95/gaewsky1/P1120049.jpg http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r95/gaewsky1/P2070002.jpg http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r95/gaewsky1/P2070003.jpg http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r95/gaewsky1/P2070011.jpg

I guess what I'm asking is if I get local taxes taken out for the city I work in can I use those to deduct on my School Dist tax?
-
I'm doing my taxes online for my school district and on my wifes W-2 line 19 is the amount for our school district with the correct name in line 20. My W-2 has another city (the one I work in) listed and then I get an additional amount taken out on line 14. My question is can I use the amount in the locality where I work (line 19 local income tax) to deduct from my school district? I think I should be able to because my wife's W-2 is doing that for her just the locality names are different.

I'm thinking closer to $19,000-22,000. I think for that money range there are many to choose from and getting a V8 with 340hp/390tq isn't a bad thing. I had a large sedan before the Subaru and miss it. I love my Subaru don't get me wrong but I just drive back and forth to work. No track at all. Plus it will give my kids more room in the back. Gets pretty tight in the WRX with two car seats. Also Subys aren't too cheap to mod either.
-
Fine by me. I'm sick of shifting the Scooby especially in traffic. I don't want another manual for a DD.
-
Why and then what else to look at? I can get the R/T for pretty cheap in price and they seem easy to mod. Right now the SRT8 doesn't fit into my budget. I'll be coming from a WRX with an 18g turbo upgrade so I think the R/T should fit my needs fine. Also my wife can't drive the WRX (5 spd) but she will be able to drive the R/T. I don't want anything to crazy fast as it will be my dd. I'm saving for a C6 Z06 so that should fill my speed needs in the very far future.
-
Well it looks like an '06 Magnum R/T will fit into my budget nicely. With a little left over for mods. Just have to sell my other wagon first. Thanks for the replies. One more thing, how is the AWD on the Magnums? Worth it? My car now has AWD being a Subaru and I have kind of gotten used to it. But I would like to let loose the rear end on occassion too. Decisions, decisions.
-
Yeah, I'm thinking a R/T Magnum. I like wagons and you can find an '06 or '07 for low $20's even lower on the '06's.
-
I'm looking at upgrading to a large sedan and like the thought of a Charger/Magnum/300C RT/SRT8 vehicles. Does anyone have one of these or any driving experience with them? Thanks for your thoughts.

Looks like I'll try Ebay now. I'd be happy to get $3500 for it but that bike is selling for $3000 which I could deal with. My bike does look pretty damn clean. (Thanks Ryan) I took it out last weekend and it ran better than when I bought it. If any one needs a tune up or detail give Ryan (88lx5oh) a call.

As the title says, I'm looking at selling my bike and I'm trying to see what websites have worked best if you have sold a bike. I don't want to trade it just to sell it quickly. Thanks for the suggestions.

I have the opportunity to get a Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm full size with a case three mags and a holster for $440. The guns has about 900 rounds through it. Does this sound like a good deal. It will be my first gun. I've been wanting to get one for a while (have never shot before) and this deal came up. Is this a good gun for a first timer? Thanks for the thoughts and if I get it I'll probably start reading the threads on going to the shooting ranges. Mike

Is your car a convertible and do you have a big tach? If so I guess it is you I usually see you driving toward Broad St. on my way home from work. Car sounds good btw. And to answer my question from above, is your car quick?

I have a feeling this one would deliver.

I see a 5.0 Red one everyone once and a while on Taylor Rd. It looks pretty nice and if it's as fast as it is loud then its really fast.

I've had the same phone number for 5 yrs and no spam. Just add your cell number to the do not call registry. I don't know if it helps but its worth a try. VZW also sells your info. Not sure what they collect and sell but you can opt out if you call 1-800-333-9956.

We got our's last year by calling Target every day and asking if they got any in. One day they got two in and I went right away and got it. Just keep calling.
