  1. Yea, every Wed 4pm - 10 pm. April to October usually.
  2. Yup. The Bens are steadily taking over the world. If the price seems too high, thats where the OBO comes in, just make an offer I can't refuse. But I think the value of the bike is about right.
  3. I've been a member since 2007, my post count was lost when the site went down. Since I'm not a post whore, and more of a troll, it has stayed low.

    Qs&l - 08 apr

Weather report lists ~52 degrees for most of bike night this evening. I leave for boot 13 APR, so I'm gonna freeze my ass off and head out. Anyone intrested, just gimme a call and we'll arrange a time and place to meet up. I ride the Stars and Stripes themed 600RR. 614 348 7961 - Ben
  5. 2003 Honda CBR 600RR I am the second owner of this bike, and I have owned it since December 2006. She has treated me good, never gave me any mechanical problems, and always rode nice. Honda bikes are great combination of handling and performance, which makes them much more forgiving and easier to ride than their competitors. She has 20,142 miles, and that number is subject to change as I will be riding it. I love this bike and hate to sell it, but I leave for the military on 13 APR. Since I can’t utilize her during the upcoming season, I want to find a good home for her. Please call with any questions. Email responses will take longer to be reviewed. 614-348-7961 – Ben $5300 OBO Modifications: Pilot Power Tires - One of the best performing street tires - Approx 7/10 life remaining. 520 Chain and Sprockets - Gearing change of -1/+2 – Acceleration focused. Yoshimura Slip-on Exhaust - Great power adder - Not obnoxiously loud. EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads - Great braking performance while maintaining streetability - Approx 7/10 life remaining. ATE Super Blue Brake Fluid - Has a higher boiling point than stock fluid. The color makes flushing much easier. Woodcraft Clutch Cover Protector - Saves the cover in the case of a lowside. Speedohealer V3 - Adjusted speedometer to correctly read speed. 6000K HID System - Provides two to three times as much light as stock halogens. Custom Paint Job - Clone of Nicky Hayden's bike - Will always draw a crowd. Rear Seat Cowl - Paint matched - Gives the race look.
  6. I'm slightly north of there, but I'll head down round 1830. I ride a very patriotic 600RR that happens to be for sale. If anyone doesn't know where the McDonalds is, address is: 5170 Tuttle Crossing Blvd, Dublin, OH.
  7. Sure thing, best of luck finding what your looking for.
  8. I have a 2003 CBR 600RR for sale, but my post counts seems to have recycled, so I can't post the ad here. http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/1099149651.html
  9. AK-47? AK-74? Or more than likely an SKS, since the rest are millitary only, and full auto. If it is one of the latter, ill through 400 bones at you for a full auto Ruskie rifle. Single shot accuracy is decent on these, and bursts are controllable with practice. Full auto streams can get a bit squirly though.
  10. I use an Arai Corsair RX7 RR4 - love it. Expensive, but the weight and venting is worth the money. Visor is easy to change after the first few times. Also use a Shoei RF-1000. Very comfortable, good venting, good choice for mid-range price point. I've used Suomy Spec-1R and Spec-1R Extreme. Good venting, (equal, or a little less than the Arai), light weight (Same as Arai). Shield is a pain in the ass to change. Extreme irridium shield is awesome though, great in day or night. Suomy USA also just died, so that should factor in your decision. My Extreme I ordered came broken, and looked shoddly put together, which is why I ended up with the Arai. For the one-piece, I use an Alpinestars Octane, and like it. Construction is good, and its stretching out nicley. Price is good too for a quality one-piece. You have to go try on a suit before buying anything. The sizing will change from manufacturer to manufacturer.
  11. Sorry to hear that man. Damn, went riding with you less than 24hrs ago. I'll keep my eyes peeled.
  12. More importantly, you know how to fix whatever breaks when the time comes.
  13. Cloning a key - Lowes should be able to. Lost the key - VIN and Registration/Title with your name on it - Dealer
  14. Sounds like $500 may be a little wishful thinking, but as i said, all offers entertained. It does have the stock Sig night sights, but they are photoluminecent, and don't work the best. What kinda semi-auto 12 ga.? Got a full auto 12 ga.?
  15. Nice to see you all again too. Since I owe Ben a beer, maybe a ride sat night after I get outa work (~1900) then drinks somewhere?
  16. Track day. Expert class, and not gridding after a warm-up lap are the big clues. Pretty sure gixxer 750 and a tiller don't run in the same class too.
  17. WaterWetter helps lower temps maybe 10-20 degrees. Reason to use it in place of straight distilled water: it provides protection for corrosion.
  18. 50/50 WaterWetter and Distilled Water. Don't leave it in over the winter.
  19. Use a DOT 3/4 with the approiate boiling point. I prefer ATE, but that stuff isn't cheap. As Lizard said, Brake oil is non-existant, I'd worry about the salesman trying to sell something he does not fully understand.
  20. I'd second the sound as potentially being a spring coming loose, espically if it is related to rotational speed. Could be a disc problem as well, hard to diagnose without tearing into it though. Clutch slipping any? Miles on clutch? Oil level still good? Last oil change? If long wheelies are a common thing for you, oil starvation could also be a problem.
  21. Power bleeder FTW. If you need help ship me a PM and i'll give you a hand.
  22. Wonder if the cop rides in a pair of shorts, torn t-shirt, and shades? Would fit with the gsx-r persona
  23. Lemme know when your ready to buy, and I'll hook you up.
  24. I put a helmet on about 90% of the time, but I am guilty of giving it up to a passenger from time to time. However, I strongly belive that we have plenty of laws already, and I don't want the government telling me what to do any more than they already do. Let the morons who want to cruise without a bucket, countine to do so. Darwinism will sort them out.
  25. Track: SP-1, or shell out for some outseams. Street: Cheap vented ones with plates for summer (Joe Rocket or Icon are good canidates), and a set of insulated/leather ones for cooler weather. Really got to bite the bullet and go try some on, won't get a good fit without getting your hand in them
