  1. Just so you know, the Checkpoint guys same the same thing about Cisco firewalls. Since I work with both I feel I am a little bit qualified to speak on why this usually happens. I manage over 50 site to site VPN's, mostly with ASA's and PIX's on the other end. It usually comes down to terminology...or different ways of handling the same thing between the two manufacturers. Trust me, Cisco does their fair share of mucking shit up. If you get someone like me who understands both sides, things go smoothly (usually). My biggest problem right now is Cisco admins who don't understand their ASA and don't allow ESP or apply the right ACL to the correct interface...etc. Same thing happens on the Checkpoint side, usually with encryption domains..etc. Anyways..enough about that. Good luck with the cert.
  2. Ahh..typical response. I'll have you know I am Cisco certified as well. Don't get out much, eh?
  3. So, because in your eyes she isn't 'normal', that gives you the right to basically kick her out the family? I feel sorry for her..she has got to have some deep seated hatred for you and your family. A lot of people end up doing harm to themselves or others because of the 'support' (or lack of) they receive from their 'non approving' family members. Again, you don't have to like it..but that doesn't mean you have to act like she doesn't exist. I'm guessing you are basing your 'it's wrong' on some religious beliefs? I'm betting that same bible or whatever you read has something to say about treating fellow humans, let alone FAMILY members, the way you are. WHen you say she's not 'normal', that's the same excuse and thinking that cause different religions and races to hate and kill each other. Think about it.
  4. In my opinion....and it's just an opinion because obviously I'm not in your family.. Your family should love your cousin no matter who or what she is. They may not agree with her lifestyle, but to excommunicate her like that to me is worse behavior. So, your family loves everyone as long as they fall in line with their beliefs? Not a knock on you and your loved ones..just a far away observation.
  5. I've got a Checkpoint exam I need to study for too.Nice to see you are in the same field.
  6. I noticed that too. I think I would have had to stop and do a diaper check.
  7. Tom- I got your msg, but it was too late. I didn't get a chance to meet up with anyone ..it was just stop and go for the most part. When i realized you called i was pulling into my driveway for the day. Next time, I'll have to start the thread earlier in the week. I didn't think I was going to have my bike put back together that fast, so it was a last minute thing.
  8. I'm still at home. Gonna clean her up and leave in about an hour. I may go pick a friend up and then grab a quick bite or drink somewhere. Leave a msg if I don't answer and I'll call ya back. Call me on my cell, I'll PM it to ya.
  9. Someone kill me. This is a bad weekend for an extended trip..kids at home plus the weather is only gonna be warm for lil bit. But I am DEFINITELY coming your way soon.
  10. Come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My bike is up and running...and not one reply. Does Cleveland suck THIS bad? Don't answer.
  11. I've gotten at least three...sportbikeriders or sportbikes.net (dont remember), gixxer.com and another one I can't think of.
  12. My bike will probably still be in pieces come Sunday...but I figured I would start a thread for those who can and want to ride tomorrow. No definite route...just trying to get some names/faces together for some good weather. Post up if you wanna get together tomorrow.

    Dyno Day

Sorry..I'm saving my $$'s for a custom tune sometime this month. Plus, my bike is on stands, tore down to the frame. I am going to bust ass to get it rideable for tomorrow's weather.
  14. I can hide in your bushes. Let a mf'er know!! LOL
  15. I'm down..but I'm all the way up north
  16. I finally watched this fight tonight...epic war. The reason why Frank was willing to stay on the ground is because he was ALREADY on the ground. He didn't need to use any energy to take Le down. hence, no wear and tear on his knee. Le was smart and didn't want any part of it. Frank fought Le's game...and lost. If it wasnt going to be the arm, it was going to be a broken rib. Frank was blocking the head shots, but if anyone on here does any serious sparring they will tell you...you might have blocked it, but it's almost the same as not blocking it. The leg is much more powerful than a punch. The sheer force of blocking the kick is just as bad as getting hit. Le's legs are short and powerful..and he is VERY accurate. Reminds me of a short, asian Mirko Cro Cop ..LOL Shamrock has done a lot for fighters and MMA behind the scenes...although he is a cocky SOB. He is on the downswing ...and le is on the upswing. Le has the advantage of less wear and tear on his body..and a much better strike game.
  17. I haven't watched this fight yet..getting ready to in 20 mins. I don't want it spoiled for me so I haven't read any other posts in this thread. been too busy riding and acting a fool today.
  18. It's legal in Cali. I have a friend with a gixxer who lived out there. It's called "White Lining". And as others have said..the rest of the world allows it for the most part.
  19. Welcome! Check the Cleveland forum. We'll be getting some rides together real soon.
  20. 192? I thought it was in the 170 range?!?! Is 192 for the 14? The last 3-4 years of ZX10 development has always been about the track. They said that about to 06-07. It's true...my damn bike has no hazard lights or gear indicator. At first I was pissed...and then I slowly started to realize that this was definately a track bike. The last piece clicked into place when I noticed how easy it was to shift my weight across the gas tank when laying it into the corners. Riding it normally in the street, I couldnt figure out why Kaw was making me sit that way!! To drive the point home, Kaw gave me a lap timer instead of hazards and gear indicator. I don't miss the hazards (only once did I wish I had them) and the gear indicator (don't need it). Lap timers come in handy on the track..once you get some experience.
