In regards to the "other" guy...I was making a simple statement about preferences is all. That last guy just has some underlying issues is all. Are you freakin serious??? So there is something wrong with hygiene? Metro-sexual men are men through and through. IF people would get out of corn country (oh I mean ohio) they would see there is another world out there beyond judgement. I was simply teasing Whodey about his shoes. They weren't that bad actually. Another region of this country and NOBODY would have said a word.

I know that he wasn't there to pick up anyone b/c he is married BUT a few of u single guys could take a few pointers from men that do dress fashionably, keep their fingernails clean/groomed, and sport a nice haircut. "Most" women like that. Plus, he wasn't on a bike. Had I not rode I would not have had those clothes on. That's my 2 cents anyway.

Thanks everyone. I am a versatile girl and can usually do this stuff if someone walks me through it. Plus, i always LUV to learn. I'm gonna try the do it yourself method after church today and if that fails I can always rely on angrish. got the PM. I understand how everyone feels but it's not just "cop killers" who get parole. I have a friend who was molested by her step father from age 8-12. He was sentenced to prison for life. After 14 years he got out. They said he was "reformed". Can we say stupidity? 6 months later he got put back in prison for another year only b/c he was carrying around pics of his new gf's daughter. Who knows what he was doing to this little girl behind closed doors. I don't believe in second chances when it comes to murder and pediphilia. We reap what we sow. Well there's my 2 cents....

Well my wonderful neighbor knocked on my door today and informed me that the pipe that goes to my sump pump has come disconnected just outside my siding. The pipe that goes in the ground has sunk in and I can't pull it out enough to reseal it. Soooo, does anyone have any expertise in this area? And if you do does this need to be taken care of like this w/e or can I wait to fix it when it's let say over 40 degrees outside. lol. I live in pataskala/reynoldsburg area so if anyone knows of a reputable plumber (I think that's who I need to call) please let me know. This is one service i haven't had to research before. Any information would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks, Sara

If you can do all the maintenance that's great. I am a single woman who NEEDS a reliable car with a warranty. I lease all my vehicles so I don't really get to concerned with all the depreciation. Anyhoo, hope u enjoy ur car what ever one you get.

So I guess they moved this darn thread. I couldn't find it....lol. Anyhoo, why does lack of children have anything to do with insurance premiums. Please educate me!! I thankfully don't have any rugrats but I don't see why children would increase a premium unless they are thinking of injuries in case of accidents. Besides who in their right mind would have a child on the back of their MC??? But then again I have seen dogs on the back of bikes up at quaker steak. hehe.

Well I don't know if the people that owned land rover's on here bought used ones but I had one 4 years back and absolutely LOVED it!!! I never had one single issue with it but of course I bought it brand new. I don't know if things have changed but you only have to get it serviced every 12000 miles but those services are quite costly. some lady in a big ole van ran into me going 65mph and my LR saved my life!!!! I don't get into all that buy american crap b/c how much of the "american" cars are truly made here. I buy what is SAFE!!! My life is worth more to me than anything. Now about the service....I had issues with their customer service. They were extremely rude and MAG is the only dealership in central ohio. That is why I just purchased a Lexus RX 350 a couple of weeks ago. Now I'm not sure which one of the cars I love more. I also have owned a Navigator (I gave my exhusband that car/payment in the divorce settlement) but it drove like a big school bus. It could fit a whole tribe of children in it I'm sure (since u recently started a family). Anyway, I know you are probably attempting to save $$$$ with the new family and all but buying a "newer" car with a warranty with probably be your best bet....especially if you're looking for a high end car. That's the problem with lots of people. They buy the expensive cars for the status but really don't have the $$$ for upkeep. Luxury cars are not cheap...hence the term luxury!!! Go for the safety ratings!!! Hope some of this helped.

I understand they liabilities and I appreciate your information. I don't mind paying a little bit more if I can feel safe with the company I'm with. I want someone I can trust. I'm currently with american family and when I wrecked my jetta in front of the cols airport last year (darn deer) at 0300 in the morning I still didn't have ANYTHING done when I got back from cancun over a week later!!! I'm still with them merely b/c of convenience but so ready to change. I don't like allstate b/c of the way they dealt with another claim of mine when a lady ran into my rover. I am ALL about customer service but I'm willing to try state farm. Has anyone had any claims from state farm??? For car & home owners...

Well it looks like state farm will be my initial call. Thanks for the info. I about had a massive coronary when they told me my rates were raising that much. I hope I don't need to switch my car & home owners insurance as well b/c I do have really great rates at american family.

So I just got my new insurance quote for my mc insurance from american family. It went from $321/yr to $1489/yr. :mad: Wow!!! They said they started coding "superbikes" differently. Thus, I need a new insurance company. Does anyone know of anyone in Cols who has cheaper insurance for a 33 year old female with no points and GREAT credit. I know they go by your FICO score now a days. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
