I can't remember everything about all of S&W's wheel guns, but this may have a scandium frame, and built to take heavy .357 and .38+P loads. It's basically the Bentley of small wheel guns.

Define gun insurance? It's kind of an as-is kind of set up with a trade in. Best you can do is field strip it before you buy it. After that, replace parts, send it to a gunsmith, or send it back to the factory. No lemon laws with firearms last I checked.

Some of the south African companies have been cashing in on Africa's instability for years. Not only do those boys have brass balls, but they can have a country ready for you in weeks Cobus Claassens, has been pretty active in that neck of the woods for many years. Leo's character in Blood Diamond was based upon Cobus's exploits. Executive Outcomes was a well known company to deal in hired guns. Bear (Blackwater) already has a ship and a small force in that area. I go to http://www.palmettostatearmory.com They get it out quick, and at a decent price. It maybe reloaded, but I'm not 100%. It is deffinately dependable ammo to run in most AR's with a 1:7 twist. Not that you can't run it through a 1:9 twist barrel, but it was designed for the 1:7 twist barrel. For instance, a 300 round bulk pack of M855 is about $110.

Dayum! The horror stories were from Iraq. Some units down in southern Iraq with the Brits, supposedly were issued British made 5.56. Said there were a number of pop and no kick (failure to fire even when the pin struck the primer) It may have been a few cases of the stuff, but I heard a few say it didn't cycle well through M16/M4's. I've always felt pretty confident in seeing LC stamped on all my rounds. Even the M118LR

Good luck with that price tag. I'd sell you a lower and a rear sight for that.
