  1. i dont run anything else than DQ either. NEVER had them slip on me either. always gripped VERY good. street and track. i get 3000 miles best out of any street tire, ran a few different types. now my R6 is my track bike and i am putting continental sport touring tires on my 89 ninja to try them out. Otherwise ill be putting Dunlop Roadsmarts on it if the Conty's suck. After i am done with this new set of DQ's i will be putting Dunlops GP-A's on the R6.

  5. HOLY CRAP... the guy i posted up about did my 89 ninja frame (subframe is connected) blasted and coated for around 250. flat black. (he hooks me up b/c i get people to him, i think he did my frame for a lil cheaper, so i would imagine 250 would be damn near right on. i was quoted 350-650 everywhere else. my guy will do rearsets for around 40 bucks stripped and coated!!! levers next to nothing. if you wanna head up there. i will gladly meet you in toledo and drive the rest of the way. i have a new Taurus X so enough room for lots of stuff. heres his info once again.

  8. Went to Iron Pony Sunday May 3rd. Picked up a new riding suit. Waterproof with removeable thermal liners, in both the Pants and Jacket. Didnt even spend 200 bucks after tax!!! 40 bucks for the jacket and around 120-130 for the pants. Both items have the 8" zipper to be zipped together. Pants are incredibly comfortable and the quality is very nice for how the zippers work. the jacket is a Nitro Millenium Heavy-duty, 100% Dura-Guard 150D abrasion resistant mesh fabric Twin-skin liner system backs up Dura-Guard shell CE certified, body heat formable, removable body armor at elbows, shoulder and back Removable, insulated full sleeve liner Front and rear reflective piping Hook/loop cinch adjustable collar, sleeve and waist Pre-curved arms, front and rear venting for riding comfort The pants are FieldSheer Mercury pants. 600D Carbolex® outer shell 1680D Ballistic overlay in high impact areas for maximum abrasion resistance Removable CE approved armor in knees 3-Step Velcro adjustable pocket for knee armor 2-Way full-length side leg zips with storm flap system Rainguard® 100% waterproof, breathable membrane Reflective Phosolite® for high visibility Anatomically fitted for the riding position Velcro front zip closure with storm flap Elastic and Velcro adjustable waist Zippered thigh vents for maximum ventilation Zippered front and back pockets Zip-out full quilted pant liner 8” Zippered connection to FS jackets after having this stuff for 2 weeks now, all i can say is that this gear is AWESOME!! on saturday i rode to work, didnt rain, poured going to lunch, poured coming back from lunch, poured on the way home. (didnt have this suit on) had my normal riding jacket on, with no liner, so water went right thru. Went home, put the new jacket and pants on, no thermal liner, and rode to huron in the rain, got there, not one drop of water got inside my jacket or pants or boots!! had my SIDI's on!! was completely dry. rode to work this morning and yesterday morning. yesterday morning was like 38 degrees. Had on the new pants, and my Castle Jacket with the liners in both. Warm the whole way, besides my chin freezing, but i used my under armor mask this morning. the pants and jacket were COMPLETELY worth the money i spent. so for anyone interested, check em out!!!! Iron Pony prolly still has the jackets in stock on clearance i believe (south end of store). not sure if the pants are still on sale.
  9. Factory rims off a Silverado 1500 but will fit Sierra. Tahoe, Yukon, etc... will fit colorado and canyon with minor modification (Colorados have bigger spindles, need to open up the center 9 or 11mm if i remember correctly) Rims have 10 miles on them before the tires were removed. only looking for 50 bucks for the set of 4, in mint shape, with the center caps. for 325 bucks total, i can have them powdercoated for yah!!! (includes coating and gas to take em to coaters and pick em up!!
