I really don't think there is a better buy than an FZ09. I get to ride my buddies every so often, and every time I ride it, I'm grinning ear to ear. I've owned a ton of bikes, and some high end bikes at that, but honestly, the FZ09 is a hard bike to beat for the money. With a little bit of money in suspension and brakes, the bike is damn near perfect. Its not a powerhouse, but it's no slouch, it has useable power throughout the rev range, and never feels like your lugging the bike. The chassis is pretty damn sorted, and some may say the front being so light is a bad thing, but it makes the bike that more fun. I've came over crest carry the front wheel and the front end just chattering as it's slighting touching the pavement right before entering a corner, and even though it's a tad sketchy, the bike never felt unstable, it just took it and leaned right over. Mind you the bike has had suspension upgrades, but for a total package price of $10k. That's bike, suspension, radial master cylinder and braided brake lines, this thing will give any 10-12k bike a run for its money. so to those looking for a moderately priced bike that's a great all arounder, check one out.

I hate using straps, and I didn't feel like spending $350 for a pitbull TRS, so I decided to make my own. Granted I copied a lot from the Pitbull stuff, I have way less in my setup than what they cost. The first one I did (for my bike) was a lot of trial and error, but once I figured out how I wanted everything to go, everything is a lot easier now. i had a local guy to me, machine pins for the axel, and drilled the main hoop and axel pins and have a pin that goes through to keep them in place. The base isn't as quick as the pitbull, but it works and is secure. A nut was welded to a piece a flat stock that is welded to the main hoop, and the base has tabs with holes so you can just bolt it right up. It's rock solid once in place. everything will get powder coated here shortly. This one I'm making for a buddy, this is the start, but cleaner, and I've modified it some.

Was browsing CycleTrader for a Specific motorcycle and came across one at Marysville Honda, I hate dealing with them, but I figured I'd go check the bike out anyway. After a test ride and look over on the bike, I was set to make an offer, well under their asking price knowing I'd have to haggle back and forth, and most likely I'd walk away in disgust and cursing the name of that dealership. I have went to look/purchase many bikes there before and always walk away wondering why I even walked through their doors. This time was different however, to my surprise. When the salesman came back I was expecting a counter offer, but instead I was greeted with "we have a deal" I was astonished. I got a great deal on the bike, no hassle, no nothing. i soon find out they are under new management, and they are wanting to regain the customer base they lost. They are more than willing to deal with the customer, and make a sale happen. So if you were put off by them before like I was, give them another shot. and the bike I purchased was this sofa 2010 Harley Ultra Limited, yes I still have the Aprilia

I booked flight and hotel accommodations, but still deciding on what tickets to get. Thinking either a flex pass so we can sit in different grand stand up each day (turn 15 on race day) or just general admission. and I've been trying to see where to buy paddock passes but can't find them for sale or even a price.
