  1. Yeah, I had my friends sister pull up next to me like that. It pissed me off when she did it. Acting like it was cute or something. I dont really get aggressive with my actions but I do get defensive about my lane. If i am in a situation where traffic is slow and backed up I usually just keep the revs up in first to make myself more known.
  2. Yeah, I would love to do something like that. But the fact of the matter is ya never know whos gotta gun. The person with the upperhand will always be the cager. For me, no matter what happens I try not to get hostile. If I had my CCW I would be much more defensive. Not like I would pull my gun out, but I definetly would like to have it just in case when I call the cager Cee yoU Next Tuesday.
  3. I was riding down Brookpark today, and I was stopped in traffic. Curb lane, behind a few cars. I am on the left side of the lane about one foot to the dashed white. This guy in a car pulls up to the vehicle infront of me. right up next to me. Wasnt trying to pass. Just some old guy, not a real threat. Thats not the first time its happened. I dont know what goes through these peoples heads.
  4. Haha... "out of a perfectly good airplane" I would be down. Ive always wanted to skydive. How many people are interested so far? None?
  5. I dont have much experiance with their service or their people. I get in a weird mood when in dealerships.
  6. I dont know on the used bike thing. But why would you buy a used bike from the dealership. I hate dealerships. Whenever im in one with the intent to purchase or a friend that needs something, I am ultra hostile. My buddy was buying his 650R and all im doin is talkin shit like, "You dont need to buy from here. It is a brand new bike, there are a thousand in Ohio. Dont be afraid to walk out". You gotta be an asshole with that stuff. I was talking to this kid in the marines and made a comment about how the recruiters are just like salesmen, just trying to hit their number and will do whatever or say whatever to get your buisness. Dealerships piss me off like the goverment does.
  7. That shit is disgusting. Case in point of why this country is so out of wack.
  8. A valve cover gasket sounds easy. Take off the plastics and bodywork/tank to get to the heads. Loosen the bolts, Take off the head. Check valve clearances and the cam chain while you are in there. Replace your gasket, Put the cover back on. Re-tourque the bolts down to spec, reassemble and your good to go. It would take a person probably less than 6 hours to do it. Whenever you work with valves, you need to let them cool before checking clearances. Just take the bike down (remove bodywork) the night before. Take off the valve cover, but leave it sit on the motor and dont leave any exposed holes where shit can get in. Wake up in the morning and it should only take a couple hours to button up. I know with my CBR there are some mods like the pair valve for free power. Do the work yourself and do a few little things to it if possible to boost the performance. Does the jumper mod work for your bike? But if it is still under warranty then you might not want to do it yourself.
  9. I went out there with a friend. Hes gotta 650R and needed to do the 500 mile maintence oil change. First thing, I hate how they are set up. One counter to get the parts, the other to pay. I just get a K+N recharge kit and my oil filter. My buddy gets a filter, drain plug gasket and a helmet quick release. We go over to the other counter and my buddy pays on his C.C. After signing he looks at the reciept and they sold him a spark plug he diddnt even ask about. The cashier girls giggle and he goes back to the parts counter and the dude just says, "Well, just keep it, you're going to need it eventually anyways". My buddy wanted to just pay to have the service done. I say to him, "You want a dealership to work on your bike and they cant even sell you parts right?" Dealerships just get me heated. If a dealeship ever screwed me, I would be paying them a visit off hours and make a window into a door.
  10. From website: 25 Fights! 3 Title Fights! Special guest UFC Veteran Fighters Sean Salmon and Jason Dent. Tickets on sale now at Quaker Steak and Lube in Sheffield. Tix are 30 bones. (insert thumbs down here)
  11. Yeah, apparently. Dont know if it is inside or out, free or charge. Not sure
  12. Locals. Amature shit I think. Starts at 7. First fight at 8. Dont know if it is inside or out.
  13. This is short notice. Anyone goin out to the fights at QSL tonight?
  14. Its not changing filters. When the air is cooler/ warmer/ more dense/ mr humid/ higher altitude it changes how much air gets into the fuel. So for a cool day, the good tuning that would benifet you would hurt you on a hot day. Tuning takes allot of time and paitence to get right yourself. Or enough money and time to let a shop do the work for you. But even then a shop might not get it right.
  15. Yeah, especially the sneaky ones from Middleburg that only have a round dome flasher on top. Some of them arent even white/black which makes it even harder. They usually have the grill bumper though, so atleast there is that.
  16. I rode to work also. Radar looked like it passed. It rained all day and poured for some of it. Luckily the rain stopped around 3:30 ish and it gave the roads some time to clear off before I had to leave.
  17. The rangers now have all white Charger cruisers. They only have the logo on the doors. I diddnt notice if they had light bars on top. I think it did. I dont know how many they have, but beware of their new wheels.

    april 25&26

Im not sure what my plans are, but if it is decent enough to get some riding in I will. Im sure somebody is gonna be out this weekend.
  19. Thats cool. No big deal. I want to get down past Canton, and the Atwood lake area looks nice. I just wasnt too keen on riding 150+ miles, then riding 50 miles home in the dark. We should get a date set on a weekend when it is nice, get a good group of people, and start earlier in the day.
  20. So whats goin on? Scrapping this Thursday thing? Ill be out today for sure if anyone is out around Cleveland.
  21. Thanks for the input. I think I am gonna cut off that chain and replace it with a clip on. So you guys beat on your bikes pretty well and never had an issue with the clip coming off?
  22. Hah. I think most dealerships have their own shit for blessing of the bikes. Its not an actual church, but a pavillion in the park set up as a church. This one is out of the Harley dealership on RT 18 (Century?). Go to their website and check for the times. It is saturday morning, with pancake breakfast around 9am or something like that.
  23. I work days, ride to work when the weather isnt pouring rain and when the bike doesnt need any maintenance.
  24. Damn, that was a fast reply. Thanks. Yeah, I know ya gotta make the opening face away from the direction of rotation. I had a place put the chain on my 250. They diddnt even safety wire it. They slapped some silicone on it. That is bull in my opinion. Silicone wouldnt last one chain cleaning. Then he had the nerve to say that he has never broke a chain on his dragbike, and he always runs clips. Too bad a drag bike isnt a streetbike and you dont always have a truck a quartermile away from you to load your bike into when the chain comes off. I couldnt even talk him into riveting my link. He just diddnt want to take the time to do it. Bike shops like that get no respect from me, and thats why the only time I like to let people work on my bike is when I bring them my rims to mount rubber. Even then the other guy at the shop put my front tire on backwards. I dont understand why people put their lives into others hands like that. Unless you know the shop is good people that is.
