  1. Hello Clevelanders. I live on the southside of cleveland (Right on the border with parma). I am planning on being more active on the forum and rides, as long as there are some that dont start from columbus (not that I wouldnt go down with a group of clevelanders).
  2. Cleveland Ohio here. Frequently ride valley parkway and through cuyahoga valley. Own a 94 ninja 250, about to buy a 01 CBR 600 f4i.
  3. If you take Valley parkway from Rocky River and continue until it ends, make a right onto Chippewa Parkway. Next you make a left onto Riverview rd. Take riverview rd all the way until it stops and make a right onto brookside and a right onto Pleasant Valley rd. Make a right and swing around to go north on Canal rd (right) and when you get to Tinkers Creek rd, take it to Dunham rd. Go right onto Dunham and then an immedate left. Ride through Tinkers creek gorge (better twisties than rocky river). When you get to Northfield rd make a left and go straight ahead and you will end up in the south chagrin metroparks and you can continue to ride that all the way to the northern reservation. Thats why they call the metroparks the emerald necklace of cleveland. I live in southern cleveland near parma. I want to go to the races next weekend but i am not sure if i will ahve anyone to go with.
  4. I'm in. I can ride any day after 5pm and the weekends
  5. Anyone doin the Teddybear run tomorrow (sunday) to the cleveland clinic?
  6. I would love to join a group in cleveland. The only thing that I am worried about is the type of people that are in them. If I'm going to be in a club they had better be intelligent, safe and have their ego's in check. What part of the west side do you live in?
  7. Yeah, I rode over there and went fishing a couple weeks ago. It was nice.
  8. Brookpark Rd to Granger Rd To Canal. Right on Canal, past rockside road into the Cuyahoga Valley Natl. Park. Left on Tinkers Creek Rd., right on Dunham rd. Immediate Left to Bedford reservation, from there make a left at the T you can continue onto the Solon Reservation. Dunham road is a really nice ride, steep hills and nice curves (watch for deer). Further south on Canal (or Dunham), West on Pleasant Valley (Alexander if coming from Dunham). Left onto Brookside Rd, Left on Riverview road. Riverview is nice, you can take it to Akron, very scenic and curvy. Make a right onto Chippewa Parkway after Rt. 82 (Royalton rd.) you can take Valley Parkway (Make a left)from Brecksville around Berea and Hopkins Airport north through Cleveland to Rocky River and it ends on Lorain Rd. About a 50 to 70 mile circuit. There are some very nice parts of Valley Parkway by the airport. Take 480 to Grayton Rd./ Brookpark. Head past the airport and nasa on the left, over the bridge. Make a right on W.220th street and a right on the first street. That goes right down into the parkway, go right to head to berea, thats the part with the most twists. Allot of them are river fords (bridges that allow water to flow over them in storms). You'll go through a nice right hand curve, dip down and then an immediate left as you crest over the sunken creek. There is one really nice left hand coming from the north below a old railroad train tressle, very easy to get it leaned over in that turn. MLK JR drive downtown is nice also, take it to Lakeshore Blvd. and it has some nice curves. Another exceptionally twisty road is Meadows Drive in Brecksville (Off of Riverview and Chippewa parkway). It goes from Chippewa parkway to Parkview. A good length of it was just repaved so its very smooth. Just watch out for Horses and Park Rangers. There is also gravel in some corners so be careful. A good part of Riverview was also repaved last year so it is still very nice. http://www.maps.google.com search: Meadows Drive Brecksville.
