You probably won't like the way it handles...I've never touched the suspension from day one. But, I actually trust you enough that if you wanted it I'll give you my address or make arrangements for you to get it. Of course the rules still apply....you wad it....you bought it. I won't be in town to ride it anyway.
Well...I'm fucked again. I have to head down to TN for work on Sunday afternoon. I specifically asked for an evening flight and this is what I get. I'm out. Anyone want to buy a nice '07 GSXR1000? I don't need it anymore since I can't even make it out for group rides.
You're going to get a little marring even if you had a 40mm socket. Caps are aluminum anyway. Nothing is that precise and there are tolerances for nuts and sockets. The play is what it is, just take your time getting it off.
Welcome...and RVT is not kidding when he says 'offensively loud'. It's pretty bad when on the highway I can hear him several bikes back! I still surprised that he has ANY hearing left at all.
Now hold on a sec....you work for a dealership. Dealerships have mechanics. Mechanics have tools. LOTS OF THEM!! You don't know any mechanics where you work that might have a wrench or socket? Just kiddin' Pat, I did looked through my extensive set and 36mm is as large as I have (or needed). Sorry.
+1 on the carbs....I had pulled mine off when I had an '85 VFR1000 (same motor as the V65). "F" that whole fiasco! Nothing sounds too difficult for a backyard mechanic.
All I hear Justin saying is, "I live my life a quarter mile at a time. Nothing else matters: not the mortgage, not the job, not my girlfriend and all her bullshit. For those 14.63 seconds or more, I'm free."
Hey...that's tomorrow. Are you sure you'll be allowed? Oh wait....you have to play volleyball in...*cough cough*...Lakewood tomorrow. Don't want you to have a ruff day in the office on Thursday either.
OK...8-2 is my only day at this point. I have to head back down to Nati the weekend of the 8th and 9th to help with the father-in-law. Route wise I'm fine with anything at this point since I haven't had the opportunity to get out for a long ride this season.
Okay....lets make this a fruitful weekend than. Norwalk on Fri. or Sat. later afternoon or evening so I can show Justin how to make 1/4 mile passes and then a full Ohio run on Sunday. Sounds like a plan to me.
This weekend I have to do handgun instruction on Saturday. Not sure about 8th and 9th just yet, but will more than likely have to head down to Nati. After that I should be good for a couple weeks I think.
Hope he gets well soon Fonz. I'll send what prayers I can spare since most of mine are for my wife and her ill father. Unforetunetly it seems like we're all tending to family these days.
